That sounds pretty cool! I wonder if they'll actually change it or just change the things that we collect, since in the GC forums it is stated that in the future the items that we collect might change (at least, it used to say that in the GC forum). I think it is about time a change is made to the GC, it has gotten a bit boring when it is the same thing over and over again, but with a different Divine.

I'm hoping that the GC is changed so we aren't constantly spending money to get more. I'm looking forward to this time because I'm hoping to get a MA. If I'm lucky, I won't have to donate 2500 e every few days. That was a money drainer

Eh, one of the many money sinks games invent in an attempt to flight virtual inflation. It was a trivial amount to me compared to the ridiculous vet fees incurred when uni breedings, since you cannot even guarantee a keeper from that.

I still play a SIM game with no real money sink >.> You would think 300mil would be worth something, but there is literally nothing to spend it on. At least on Howrse there is always another GA I can hunt down, or an EC expansion to work at.

It's understandable that this may be a little unpleasant but the aim is to allow you to have a working perk once we do the modification on the great challenge.
If we do the modifications and leave the divines as they are their perk becomes moot.
If there are no longer any great challenges or if their frequency changes then the fact that the divines allow you to get horseshoes isn't much of a perk. Hence why we are changing them so that they offer something regardless of what the great challenge does.


Here are the proposed changes.

We are reviewing the Big Challenge.
The aim won’t be to collect horseshoes any-longer.
So to prevent those future changes from affecting you we’ve had to review the VIP benefits given by some of the divines.

Summer:
*If you are a VIP, Summer doesn’t offer 50 horseshoes when the Big challenge starts.
He now allows you to reserve the boxes you build in your workshop to another player or yourself when you go to gather them at the end of their production cycle.

Winter:
*If you are a VIP Winter won’t allow you to filter competitions according to the horseshoes they offer.
*This horse will form now on allow you to filter your horses according to their BLUP inside a breeding farm. We’ve added the option “Blup” in the drop down menu of the various options that are available.

Huanglong:
*If you are VIP, Huanglong doesn’t allow you to get the extra 10% of horseshoes earned during competitions.
*He now allows you to get an extra 10% worth of equus for each competition won. The benefit can’t be stacked if you have more than one Hunaglong and doesn’t work with the Grand Prix.


We were also asked to voice our opinion on a possible change on one divine and here is what was offered.

What is your preference for the new Winter perk?
Keep it as it is on the test site now: filter according to BLUP inside a breeding farm.
Offer the possibility to share a horse, within a team, for 1 day minimum (instead of 2)
Offer the possibility to filter competitions on the one a horse of a player is already entered in.


In case the last offer is not understood this is what is meant.

You have a horse that you entered into a competition (most likely you are trying to get twenty wins with that horse)
You then want to fill that same competition with a filler horse (may not have your team affix on it). You can filter on the competitions that you are already entered in. It would help teams but it would also help individual players also trying to play around very active teams.

It would have been nice if those divine perks had changed (or been known of for sure - not just from spoilers) before they were offered in sales. I would want to get Winter if the perk changed to either the 1 day loan or the competition filter.....

I would prefer the one day loan to filling, honestly. Sometimes I'm working (read: speed-BLUPping) on my account and I've got maybe two MA. My partner is off for the night. I loan her the male since I can't do it on my account, then work it on hers. But then I have to wait two days to redo the stunt.

I imagine the VIPs would really like the competition filler perk. The BLUP sorting would come in handy, too. Heck, any one of those perks would be pretty useful. Smart, Howrse, to release this information now. Now there will be plenty of people purchasing passes to afford Winter once it reaches the reserved sales. If I were VIP and didn't already have the horse, I'd go for it, too. default smiley (y)
