Personally, I never understood the point of hiding every spoiler when the whole forum topic is spoilers, and if you don't want to see them, don't click on the topic in the first place, but that's beside the point. I'm pretty excited about the upcoming stuff, too. The new divines are absolutely beautiful. The drafts will be nice, for the simple fact that they'll be useful for collecting resources. Also, since they'll only be able to reproduce a certain number of times, Isis is going to really come in handy!

It worked for me...default smiley (o)

@Hallaloth, thanks. I never thought about when exactly the promos always start, like, which day of the week.

Some people want to see spoilers about certain things. Those are just the rules, and you DON'T want to get this topic locked by being off-topic again.

A third and forth question (sorry about all of these questions!):

Click to display
Ok, so will it be worth it to get the extra sweets if they are only 1 spot off path? Like will we use less energy with a sweet but using energy to get it, or is it a bit less energy to just stick to the path and avoid going off it for sweets only. I'm just trying to prepare for the maze...

Click to display
Ok, so is it best to use sweets right away or save them for later? Or does it not affect anything?

A treat is used automatically, it takes the place of your energy used. If you have a treat you will not use energy, you will instead use the treat. Each treat space seems to have 3 treats on it. So if it is one spot off the path it will take one energy to get there, you grab three treats. One treat to move back to the space you were one. One energy to progress to the space you would progress to without the treat, 3rd treat will get you one space beyond the space you could have reached without the treat.

The maze is going to be very difficult and expensive.Opened over 50 TCs.

There is no option to going back and getting anything missed either.

Yuck. 2 questions:
Click to display
So you only find treats on level 3 of TCs?

And when you said there is no option to go back - is that once you finish the maze?

I just spend about an hour playing around

Click to display
Treats were only found on level 3 6-10 of them. The highest level I got to was 7 so it is not likely finding them rarely on other levels.

It has been stated on by other testers once you complete the Maze (meaning exiting to get Blue) you are not able to re-enter).

I am sure careful spending and a knowledge of how the maze works and how treats work, and when it is okay to side-step can bring down the TCs opened drastically, but I will say this.

I for the most part have been following the shortest route and I have found no gift better than the Medusa's Blood on that route. Not sure if it is the same for other people, but it may be that the better gifts are buried a little deeper in the maze.

A side note on shortest
Click to display
path, I have been writing out a path and one thing I noticed is that even though it is shortest on number of squares directly. It's not the shortest path. Sometimes those small side steps that grabbed treats actually made the path shorter as the treat actually made it so you were able to get an extra move in and got you farther faster.

Fastest for M
Click to display
For those looking for the fastest route through the maze it's not the red path it is actually that beautiful white dotted path. When you calculate in treats it would take 193 moves to follow the red path, however with the white dotted when you take into account treats it would only take 169 steps of your own moves to get through the maze.

Okay, I'm not sure I understand this... is it possible to get Blue without using any passes, TCs, or HoPs or anything else?

The map is the same for everyone here on preproduction and the gifts as well.
The map won't change when it goes live but the gifts will change position a little.

It would be too much of an advantage if there wasn't a little change on the live version.

So I take it to mean-

Click to display
we can buy treats or candy pieces directly with passes without having o take a chance on winning them through the TCs? Hmmm.... Still seems like an expensive promo though. Thanks for the info!

One question:

Click to display
If we get all the possible free moves and go on the quickest path (red path, but stopping for treats that aren't too far away), how many extra treats will we need?
@magic101

Some calculations

Click to display
the white dotted path is actually the fastest/most efficient path for the maze. Providing that treats and eyeglasses don't change, just where the prizes change places. You are looking at total 172 moves needed on your own (that's total minus treats), 85 will come straight from your own energy leaving 87 left you have to make up. Depending on your luck from TC could be around 30 passes. If do the straight buy would be would be a bit more looks like around 50 passes.

If follow straight red path because treats and eyeglasses do move you are looking more towards 40+ depending on luck from TC and where treats are located along path. Straight buy 50 passes as well

Thanks,

Question:

What page are the pictures of the maze with the quickest routes highlighted posted? I went back a few pages and can't seem to find them.

I have not been on to check. I am not even planning on winning Blue though, I will wait until they go in reserves, not really a fan of her perk (do not need morale)
