Really? I didn't know that. A mod on Int said there would always be the same prizes, just not in the same places. I guess she was wrong... default smiley (o)

So,
Click to display
it's for certain that you will get a draft if you get EVERY single gift? There WILL be one somewhere in the maze, you just might not get it? I'm confused.

@ White Coral & Cyberhorse-

Ohhh ok I gotcha, thanks! I was under the impression it was random whether you'll have them on the board at all much less could find them.

A couple other questions if anyone knows (Sorry, trying to prepare)

Click to display
Does anyone know how it will be determined if there will be one or two drafts placed somewhere on the board? I've heard both as far as they'll definitely be one and then possibly two? What decides who gets boards with two and who gets the boards with only one?

Also, is there anyway ahead of time to manipulate which board you get? I'm pretty sure the answer to that one is probably no but I thought I'd ask.

Is every board 100% totally random or are there say (For example) 15 different boards and it's just random luck who gets which one? I guess what I'm asking in other words if there might be a way to predict some kind of patterns if there's a set number of boards that just get mixed up between all the players.

Maze and prizes:
Click to display
The placement of prizes is not always the same. You can land on, for example, I2, and get a gift. Someone else lands on I2, and gets a gift. They will likely not be the same. At all of the places where a gift is positioned on the maps below, there is a gift. It will not be the same gift, but it will be A gift. For example, don't go to 11G, expecting a HG, or TC. There will be a gift there, it might be good, but it, also, will probably not be one.
Here is the Gaia map, posted by someone on Int:

Here is the Ouranos map:

For example, at S2, Gaia shows a carrot, and Ouranos shows leather. Neither of those are all that good. At I2, Gaia shows a HG, and Ouranos shows a TC. I'm wonlering whether there is some small strategy-- on certain places, there will be a gift of less quality, and, on other places, there will be a gift of higher quality.
Another example, at M9, Gaia shows a Western saddle cloth, Ouranos shows a Classical saddle. Both gifts of less quality. At 11J, they both show a TC. At 11G, again, they both show a TC and HG. But, instead, this time, it's Ouranos that shows the HG and Gaia that shows the TC.
Looking back at my observations, I'm beginning to wonder whether there is some strategy to the gift placement. Another observation is that most of the better gifts are more to the end. I'm not surprised by that, though. Also, most of the cheap gifts (tack, equus, store items) are on the route. Most of the better gifts are sort of off the route. Get what I mean? I'm not certain, but I'm beginning to guess...
So with this all just to see if have correct then a small suggestion/request for prepod people

Click to display
So we know that there should be generally the small gift through out everyone's boards. However they will not be in the same spot generally as another player. Then also with live we will no longer know for sure if the little green gift boxes (the prizes) will be in the same spot as some will be moving as stated by ow to make things fair to those that aren't watching like hawks at all these spoilers. Is this all correct?

I had a theory when we first started seeing different maps to the maze and there prizes. However there has not been enough data to prove yes or no to it. So my request/suggestion would those on prepod be willing to make a list of the gifts they received and where and share with us ? The more data the better to analyze if there is anything to the gifts or if it is just random (well as random as coding allows).

Well, a mod on Int (ShoraNagi) made a list of what she found on the maps. Everyone gets the same gifts. Here:
Click to display
This didn't take me as long as I thought it would to get a count of how many of each gift is in the Maze;

The blue number is how many times that Prize appears in the Maze (so the 2 next to the Percheron means there are 2 of them in the Maze)

As there is no difference in how the Equus shows on the map - the numbers for them could be wrong (I just took a guess, and of the 5 spots showing equus - this seems like a likely spread (2 of them give 6,000e, 3 give 1,000e))

If you collect all the Prizes - your total winnings are:

2 Whips
2 Bell boots
15,000e
3 Hera Packs
30 Aging points
150 Carrots
1,500 Oats
3 Zeus' Lightning Bolts
4 Fertility Wands
3 2* Classical Saddle Cloths
3 2* Western Saddle Cloths
2 2*Classical Saddles
3 Medusa's Blood
1 Seal of the Apocalypse
2 2* Classical Bridles
60 Leather
2 Showers
1 Hestia's Gift
3 Golden Apples
2 Water Troughs
2 Percherons
3 Philotes' Strokes
4 Helios' Rays
3 Apollo's Lyres
3 Lunges
3 Croesus' Fortunes
2 Titan's Challenges

She says that everyone gets the same gifts. This was made off the maps of the Ouranos test server, Gaia, and Prepod. She had three references.

It's called a "spoiler", and you do this:
Click to display
Your text here [/**spoiler]
But, the last bracket has to have a /, like this:
Remove the **.
If you're not sure your spoiler will work, click the preview button before posting. default smiley ;)

Thank you for finding that I have been looking all over for it default smiley :d. 3 references are nice but I was looking to see more of people's exact positions. Not just about how many but comparing positions.

@Midnightlady (concerning the prizes)
Click to display
As you see in my post, I made some observations on gifts of higher quality being put in certain spots. Read it, and you'll see waht I'm trying to say.
Admin has already stated on the test server that the spots for prizes will be moving, this way no one can go into the promo with an advantage.

Yep I am thinking along the same lines but can't prove one way or another without more data.

@Hallaloth yep but still lots can do to help prepare and help others without knowing exact locations.

I know, it was just a theory I had. It's really interesting, though. I wonder if they DID have some sort of a pattern to the prizes...?default smiley (o) I don't know anything for certain, though. Just an observation. It could be a coincidence. The more I think about it, the more confused I getdefault smiley (lol)
As I've been thinking about it, I've been going through phases of "yes, they must've", and "no, I was just being silly". default smiley (lol)
Lol yep I have been doing the same, just can't tell with only the pictures and what a couple have posted.

However I have been able to
Click to display
start planning out how to go through the maze to get the eyeglass to see enough to make critical choices on certain spots on the map. I am planing to have a map up on my page (sort of like I have the piñata schedule now but in a spoiler banner) that I can update with gift positions as I find them and friend's finds that are going different directions I am. It will also have some paths set out for side roads and the white dotted path.

Anyways, back on subject... I have a request for you, Hallaloth, and everyone else on the test server. Could y'all post pictures of the Maze, with the prizes you got? I would like to compare all the pictures we've gathered up.

UFOs have been replaced with flowers containing gifts.

The gifts come in pairs. That way, you can give the second one to a friend. All you have to do is throw the flower!

Happy Flower Fight to all!

Rewards
At the end of the contest, the players who have thrown the most gifts will receive:
1st: Greyfell
2nd to 10th: 1 x Nyx Pack
11th to 50th: 1 x Horn of Plenty
51th to 100th: 1 x Achilles' Heel
101th to 30000th: 1 x Medusa's Blood
~*~

Maze Information

Treats and field glasses will help you find your way out of the Maze!

How to move inside the Maze?

Move by clicking on the direction you wish to explore.
A Move costs either:
*A Treat
*20% of energy

You will need to choose a horse to follow you inside the Maze to go and rescue Lovely Blue who is kept prisoner on the island.

Depending on the skills of the horse you chose to follow you, you get between 2 and 5% of energy back per hour.

You can change horse along the way but when your horse is registered to help you in the Maze you cannot do anything with him outside. (So you can't care for him at all)

Big Prize : Find the Maze’s exit and win Lovely Blue
~
Lovely Blue is one of the Horses of the Rainbow.
Lovely Blue is a mare and can breed once in her lifetime with Shiny Yellow in order to give birth to Forest Green.
She gives you one diamond every Friday (after the daily update), provided you logged in at least once over the previous 3 days.
Once you own all the 7 Horses of the Rainbow, you can obtain Secret Rainbow.
Game:
1 x diamond every Friday
VIP:
Earn double morale when grooming your horses on Fridays
This mare cannot be sold.

~

General Notes about the Maze:

Moving backwards/to already revealed spaces DOES take energy

You must actually click on the Gift to gain it.

About Treats:
Each treat gives you one move in The maze that doesn't require energy.

*I actually landed on a treat in the maze, and it gave me 3 additional moves - so I believe it is one move per treat, but you may be able to find more than one treat at a time

While you can change your horse as often as you like - the energy used remains the same (so if you are at 0% energy - changing horses won't put you back up)

During this event - there will be Treats offered on Level 3 of the Titan's Challenge. The info I found stated that you will receive 6 to 10 treats on level 3 (note as usual, you must stop and claim your gifts)

~

Screen shots of moving through the Maze;

When you first start - it shows you a list of your horses (it showed all mine with the highest skills, thus the highest energy regain - but you can search for a different one as I did in this image). Notice that at the bottom under the horse's name it says the energy regeneration rate.

The start of the maze - notice there is only one direction to go:

Finding a Spyglass - as well as a fork in the road. Note the arrow over the spyglass indicating to click it to get its benefit:

About the Spyglass;
The spyglass reveals 10 new squares on The maze in order to help you find your way more easily.

Finding a Fertility Wand - again, you must click it to get the gift:

*on a different note - for those who have seen the screenshots I posted of the fully revealed maze map...So far, my maze has matched up to it perfectly so it seems that it might be the same for everyone. I'll let you know more once I get further along.

Click to display
The problem is that the drafts she found in the spaces shown on that map I collected a gift, just no drafts. It isn't just that I didn't get any but quite a vfew got not a single one and I am sure they probably made a few detours I didn't.

I just don't want anyone disappointed if they actually get through and get none.

I got no drafts at all. It was suggested that at least 1 draft be on the direct path near the end of the promo. That would guarantee at least 1 draft.default smiley (y)

Looked back a few pages and didn't see these posted (please tell me if they already have been, though). I got these from the Australian server, and apparently they got it from INT.

Does anyone remember seeing anything about the Greyfells... I could have sworn that I'd read somewhere that the Greyfell in the pinatas was supposed to be a female??
gypsy - the 4th Greyfell bred by each individual player is female. So if you already have 3 greyfell, then the one you get from the pinatas will be your 4th and female.
