Since we've been asking questions about Promos, I'm curious if

are considered to be in this category? If that's the case, I can't remember, but are they considered a Promo all of their own, with their own quests and requirements?

They would still count as a promo, we have not seen them in quite a though. I think it has been almost a year and half since the last time that particular promo ran.

To the first question. Howrse is clearly aware how valuable GAs/Harm Packs are. . .GAs are routinely in the 'most purchased' standing in the black market, second only usually to Hops or whatever promo item is going around. They know people want them, and they have an economy to attempt to keep balanced, not just in currency but in items as well. The more 'loose' BMIs in people's inventory the less likely people are to spend passes on them, and in turn buy passes for them. It is likely they try to keep certain ratios of loose' items on the server and make the prize lists accordingly. Note how rarely Nyx Packs, or Hera Packs are on the prize list either, though we have seen Nyx a bit more frequently lately, we rarely see breeding BMI at all or CTs.

The 'usefulness' of an item or the player generated value of it seems to be a factor. We see P. Stones all the time, but most of us I think will admit while we use them, they are not essential for the most part, new players love them, skillers use them left and right. . . but often immortal horses get left in a dust pile after a while. GAs do too, but they have more sentimental value, contribute to rankings, and are highly sought after beyond their effect on the game.

To the question about the prize list. The Ride usually offers 3 different sized gifts, small, medium and large, quite possible the order of the prizes is generated by where they fall in which boxes and the order is not really reflecting their value so much as they fact that the prize itself exists.

There is no order but just what is found on the boards. If you are more concerned with getting all the top prize boxes, then you will have more of the higher level BM items. If you just want to go straight through then your BM wins will be smaller.

So your individual prizes board will differ from player to player.

Ah, I see. That makes sense on the sizes. I didn't realize there were differeces like that involved. Sounds like this could be a very interesting promo to get used to. I'm going to go back over the spoilers and take a closer look, to be ready.
