hey what is the horse parade? I have no idea I have only been here 96 days and that's nothing compared to what I've seen

I don't know, but it hasn't been here for 162 days is all I know.

The Horse Parade promotion is where player are given horses to "tack up" - two impartial promotion judges judge the horse's tack (did you use English, Western or mix them up?) color coordination and tack bonuses. Better quality tack equals more points for your horse.
The judges evaluate and award points to your horse that can be redeemed in a promotion store for BMI items (Remember the clover store? It's just like that.)
You will be be given the divine horse to tack up throughout the promotion with special divine tack - you have to find the braids, leg bandages, saddle cloth, saddle and bridle to "win" the divine.
During the promotion, Parade Packs will come out in the Black Market that can be bought for 1 pass. These can contain divine tack, extra horses to tack up, and other tack items for your current Parade horses.

Color coordination? This is bad for me, considering my style is "The more it clashes, the more I like it"

Don't worry, most of us didn't worry about color coordination that much - just put the items that have the highest bonus points attached and you'll wow the judges!

It's a fun and creative promotion that can give you a lot of great prizes with minimal participation. It's one of my favorites. Give it a try - I think you'll enjoy it.

hmm... whats the horse parade? also it would be cool in they had a promo where you have to see what horses are the top covering offerers or have the most coverings

I don't think we'll get a covering promotion - just imagine the sudden explosion of foals (and probably not quality ones) that a promotion like that would encourage. The "Set the Horses Free" promotion was set up to help delete the excess of horses on the game - I highly doubt they'll create a promotion to encourage wasteful breeding.

Define "wasteful breeding" LD. I happen to not breed BLUPped parents together for the express intent of getting more horses. Normally I use my own studs.

How is divine tack obtained? Not with passes right? As in there are ways to get it without passes which I can not buy.

Horns of Plenty are NOT going to be useful in the next promo; sorry.
Parade packs will be purchasable in the next promo with points and will be sold in the Black Market.
Divine tack will NOT be purchasable in the next parade, if my sources are accurate, but you can purchase the Divine directly.
Divine tack will be found like normal tack as well.

Then the coats we have now can't be from 2008 that's way to many more then 3 years of howrse being around.

Oh, sorry just saw the post about US server being founded in 2007. So then the current coats where from 2009 till know?
