Because comments are closed on the blog post, I thought I would post my thoughts here. About the tack feature, I like it but also support having the option to remove it, or certain parts of it, like I don't like the bonnet but I do think the saddle and blanket would look good on some of my horses.

Also any possibility of eye colors? My dream horse is a blue eyed medicine hat paint horse, which currently isn't possible in the game....

Also am not liking the hair on any of the horses, the coat is fine but the mane, tails, and the feathering on the legs/hooves... Those poor beautiful Friesians and Gypsies. ): The conformation is also wrong for a lot of them.

I am liking the texture of the new coats but I do think they still need a bit of work.

I really can't make sense of what is going on with the Throughbred's face. It almost looks squished. The refined, elegant head of a TB is just lost. I don't know if it's an angle issue, but something does not look quite right. Please rework the head. The heads of the new warmblood coats remind me more of a TB than this coat does.

The arch on the Friesian's neck seems a bit too pronounced and makes his neck look misshapen. The color also looks a bit muted compared to the old coat. Darker midtones throughout the coat should help with the washed out look, as well as a bit more texture on the mane and tail.

I love the GV's new head and neck, but the legs and hooves now look too thin for the rest of the horse. IMO they need quite a bit more meat on them, and a lot more feathering. One of the breed's defining features is the copious amounts of feathering and that is lost on the new coat.

The PSH looks better than it did when it was unveiled previously but I still really miss having the flowing mane of the old coat. It made the breed very distinctive.

Actually riesians are known for ridiculously arching their neck like that >.> I roe a mare who was originally trained to carriage driving and you could /not/ get her head and neck into a relaxed head-set.

Stating it against since people seem to not have heard. There is an option to turn off visible tack being added with the update.

I hope the next promo is potions after the parade honestly. I enjoyed my first Wandering horses promo until they started adding in the 'get a horse to 50 years of age' horse. I am fine with the 15 or 20 Hops horse. The horse over 50 pretty much requires either MA, quite a lot of older immortal horses or access to the pieces of cloud pack which is 3 passes for the peggy acc to begin with, and another 6 for the pack. It gets fairly dull after a while too.

I've always wanted mules but horses GP goes up and donkeys GP goes down so it wouldn't work.
IT's too bad. I love mules.

Same as any: average the GP. They wouldn't be good comp horses but they'd be a collector's item.

I definitely think the concept is interesting. The idea of the whole server working together for once is a great change i also like the possible change to the divines.
