I wish they wouldn't.

I never even thought about that, Lindsay! I was figuring they'd be like regular horses, meaning you access them in your breeding farms, but it would be interesting if you took care of them with the ECs.default smiley *-) I'm so hoping that you can take care of them! *crossed fingers*

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, or whether it's been said, but is there any way to know which wild will be in the sales next?
By Retired breeder, March 5, 2014 00:15:25
And if there's not a way to know which ones will be released next, could someone tell me which ones have already be up for sale?
By Retired breeder, March 5, 2014 01:23:26
tugger-I posted an approximate list (it's off by about a day) in the Lottery topic.

Well, I'm happy that new breeds may make an appearance in the form of drafts - competitions might get very interesting, as I assume they'll have dedicated competitions and breed only-competitions! I would dearly like to see Lipizzaners, at some point though. They're on the French server, so I'm never giving up hope! default smiley :-))

What i think would be pretty cool would be to have certain breeds that you create by crossbreeding the parent breeds, and have them show up as the new breed.

For instance, if you crossed an Akhal Teke with an Appaloosa and nothing else, you'd have a Nez Perce Horse, and have it show up as a purebred Nez Perce Horse. Then you could go on to breed a Nez Perce to a Nez Perce to create another Nez Perce... kinda like they do in the real world with Irish Hunters.

Irish hunters are a cross between the Irish Draft Horse and the Thoroughbred. If they introduced the Irish Draft, you could cross it with a thoroughbred and produce an irish hunter, but with teh way the game is set up now, it would show up as a crossbred instead of a purebred.

Another crossing that produces a purebred horse is the Welsh x Appaloosa to create the Pony of the Americas.

The breed i want to see the most on here though is the American Cream, although Lipizzaners would be cool too default smiley (lol)

A breed dedicated to the dressage comps would be nice. Currently there aren't any.

More barrel racers, reiners, and trotters would be nice too. Currently, those comps only have one breed designed for them a piece!
Actually, the Friesans are dedicated to dressage.

That's a great idea. I'd especially love to see more reiners & barrel racers.
Aren't nokos specialized for dressage? I can't remember, it's been a while since I checked out the top skills of many breeds.
Lusitanos are one of the Howrse breeds that specialize in dressage, but sadly they're only on Int. Howrse.

Friesians are dedicated to CUTTING, not Dressage.
Nokotas are dedicated to TRAIL, not Dressage, as are Knabstruppers.
There are currently no breeds on the game that actually are dedicated solely on Dressage.
Which is why we need Lusitanos.
I've always used Friesans for dressage. They're the best ones (breed wise) qualified for dressage. And I don't do western so I'm speaking from a Classified point of view.default smiley (a)

The easiest and fastest way to BLUP a friesian is to compete them in Cutting default smiley (lol) The same is true for Arabians and the Purebred Spanish Horses.

Nokotas are dedicated to Trail Class, as are Knabbies.

Maybe if they got a horse that it was fastest to BLUP in Dressage comps, the dressage comps would run more frequently.

Just backing you up Wolf, and thank you for answering that before I could default smiley ;)

No need to be so harsh.
Maybe there aren't any breeds that are dedicated to Dressage, but there are some that do well enough to be "dressage" horses. I think that's the point Star was trying to make.
I agree with you though lol Lusitanos would be wonderful & something new.

Seems like Howrse only has been releasing new breeds with Dressage as a primary or secondary skill lately. Hopefully that changes. default smiley (y) We shall see.
By Retired breeder, March 7, 2014 11:54:38
Lusitanos would be really neat to have. Do they have them on International or am I imagining things?
By Retired breeder, March 7, 2014 11:56:01
Solei, there's a difference between making a point and being harsh. I wasn't being harsh; sorry if it sounded that way to you.
By Retired breeder, March 7, 2014 11:56:24
Lusitanos are on INT
By Retired breeder, March 7, 2014 12:25:05
Lusitanos are also on German ^^

You know, I really wish the Treasure Chest didnt cost 10 passes so I could buy it
By Retired breeder, March 7, 2014 13:48:42
And Lusitanos are on the French and Italian versions as well XD.
By Retired breeder, March 7, 2014 13:52:38

Is the barrel racing breed you're talking about Arabians? Because that's what my arabians are best at. If not, what breed is it?
