It's my understanding that the Great Challenge/Festivities itself is permanent and not a promo per se, just a new part of the game as addicted said, and promos (cards, pinatas, potions, puzzles, wandering horses, etc) will run alongside it when they do occur.

Has anyone else noticed the some of the buttons have changed from yesterday? Like the auction, direct, and reserved sales tabs. Even the Preview and post that message buttons.

I will use herme's winged staff to buy a nyx pack, then sell it back to the BM for 6 passes with These's Scale or whatever its called, the use those passes for HOPS to open!

People do not seem to understand that the Great Challenge is NOT a promo, it is structured to be a forever part of the game, with the added benefit of an occasional small lottery.

I'm sure they will eventually- they'll just be a lot rarer than they used to be. We were told we'd still see the old promo types when the GC was implemented, it would just be a lot less frequent.

Won't work, for two reasons:
1) With the HWS, you have to use the item immediately.
2) Themis' Scale doesn't give you passes. It trades for BMI's in the black market.

Now, I'm sure you can trade the Staff for a Nyx Pack and swap the Nyx for six HoP's.

Mine are fine, as far as I can tell, so maybe it is just a glitch. If that's the case, it's also temporary and fixable.
