question about workshops

If we get high enough prestige to get one -- and lose prestige AFTER we have gotten it, do we lose the workshop ?

You would not lose the actual building, just the use of it.

I just tested the repair for my 3 star box on prepod

I needed the following at 10 e per unit of each resource.

37 Wood
37 Sand
19 Iron

That equals to 930 e in total.default smiley :(

Right now it costs 200 e to repair your box.

Tip--All my boxes are now currently sitting at 0% wear and tear. It will take over 2 months for them to require the next repair.default smiley :)

Thanks for that, hopefully I remember to repair right before the changes go through. Gonna have to hunt around for some beach ECs to shove ponies into it looks like. And really debate on changing my EC location.

Re the slider option and OW reason for using it. Also it is only mandatory for the feed option, not the training part so while not too happy I can probably manage it.

Here is her explanation for the different color scheme on the slider and reason for the feed slider

When the slider is in blue it's free.Sometimes the slider can be totally blue when the EC your horse is in is offering the full monty and the meadows are also giving a large amount. Concerning the drop down, i can't remember the precise figures but the majority of players use the slider and a small percentage use the drop down. Found old statistics => 83% of players were using the slider in January
The drop downs are slowly fading out of use because they require more actions than the slider and aren't as easy to use on mobile platforms.
For instance players using a tablet will have less trouble with the slider than with the drop down feature

By monty does she mean amount?

And do the ECs choose how much they offer, is it based on how much fodder they have, or both?

I find drop down much easier on a tablet... slider is impossible!

The Full Monty - means everything is shown/given. It was a funny old movie, too...google it!

She said full monty means everything ( full range of services and feed). ECs offer fodder and oats..there is no % of that. Either they offer it or don't.

i heard thet Croesus's will be in the treasure chests soon

Um, does anyone know if the great challenge is taking a break soon? Why?

It is believed that Croesus will be offered at level 7 in the TC same as the other mythological divines, but we will not know for certain until it happens.

The GC is on hold while the new EC changes go into place in order to give players the chance to fully investigate them and figure out how it is going to affect their game.

Silly me, but when are the new EC changes coming?

Personally, I love the idea of the string-of-pearls feature. I mean, Its fewer clicks (like rpbierly said). But, I do have question about this feature. Do you still have to click the feed button? Or does it feed automatically after you choose the amount you want to feed? If so, then I do see how players could not like it, seeing as how many times I accidentally click on the wrong amount of food at first.default smiley (lol). Also, does/has anyone posted a photo from the test version of this new feed layout?

Cyberhorse, will that feed change (that you showed in the photo) be coming this update or the next? Or is it still in testing and may not happen?

So im assuming that we really don't have a choice about whether we want to make mashes by hand(the way we do now) or by workshop, eh? I personally do not understand the purpose of this new change. I mean, why change something that doesn't need fixing? Oh well.

Im not sure that I necessarily understand this:

EMPLOYEES
That you got rid of the employees only to replace them with virtual ones that require the player to pay either 1 pass or diamonds for one months worth of X benefit to the EC.
Sure they old employees were a hazzle, but bringing them back, only to ask for diamonds or passes is just not right.
Can someone explain? I have a feeling that this feature is not going to be good for players who don't buy passes or get passes frequently.

930E to repair a box? Seriously? Wow. I can hardly afford 200E at times. default smiley (lol) Question:
Click to display
I must have missed it, but are we still only going to be able to get the "ingredients" from the draft horses and the store? Or are Draft horses out? Also, what do we use the leather from cows for? I must have missed that piece of info too. default smiley (lol)default smiley 8-)
String of pearls is already an option for feeding, training and riding. I use it all the time. You can turn it on under My Account. Yes, you still click the feed button after selecting the amount to feed. The change will be the two-colored pearls to show how much feed is provided by the EC, and requiring everyone to use it rather than having the option of a drop down list.

As for employees -
Click to display
yes they cost passes/diamonds but they are not as essential to the ECs as the old jobs were - they make things easier, faster and/or cheaper - but you can still do everything without employees. At least that's how I understand it.

Someone told me the Great Challenge begins in March. I don't think it begins at that time though. Does anyone know if this is true? I would think that nobody knows, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I believe all horses will bring in resources when they do missions - draft breeds will bring in more than other horses, though. Leather is used in making tack, mostly.

the string of pearls interface would virtually paralyze me on the game. i hate it and i still use the old interface. i don't have the best eyes. i can't see the string of pearls that well. i find them horrible to use. i have invested three and a half years and a bit of actual money in this game and this would ruin it for me. yes, this little thing. what would be the big deal about keeping the option open for the old interface for those of us who want it, especially those of us who NEED it? this is the most dreadful news i have ever heard regarding howrse. it trumps getting rid of pets, changing the ecs, everything. i can deal with all that; i did deal with it and i AM dealing with it. but making it impossible for me to see the game well enough to play: what's the point of THAT? surely i am not the only person who feels this way?

I have bad eyes, too. The string of pearls won't be pleasant, for I need very strong glasses, but I suppose I will get used to it. The workshops sound a bit expensive and I don't have the most money. I guess I'll have to really watch my spending.
I've been using the string of pearls since it came out, so I'm pretty used to it. Though now that I consider it, I do really hate rides and training because I usually miss it on the first click. Maybe I'll try switching to the old interface for a day and seeing if it does work better for me.

i have seen it on accounts i comanage. i have not gotten used to it. my eyes are what they are. no amount of tormenting them is going to get them used to being tormented. i cannot overstress how awful and even physically painful i will find this.

It'll probably be a pain either way if they implement it, but does zooming in help your eyes at all?
