Thanks now I know
Apparently scarecrows are leaving and we are getting tractors instead...how does this work?

I won't be impressed if I have to purchase tractors for my EC when I already have a bunch of scarecrows.

If we already have scarecrows, what happens to them?
If I understand correctly, all feilds with the scarecrow will be changed to feilds with tractors.default smiley (y)

Tractors, like scarecrows, are just a bonus for production. You don't need them but they'll make life easier.

I've got an in-class essay we'll be working on Monday. Not looking forward to that.
But to these changes, I'm looking forward to them even less. But change is change, and we'll weather that.
Wolfheart77, I am thinking that those who prepare as best they can and are willing to roll with it with absorb the impending shock from the changes. But, I do agree with your sentiments. It is what it is and we will prepare, adjust, and do the best that we can. At least that is my perspective.

I will be sitting this out as best I can, no horse activites (which cost money ) -- and just do nothing but grow crops -- that's it --
till it blows over and things get back to normal and we know what we're all doing -- it's going to be a long summer

And I think that is a good plan. Wait until the initial shock levels out and see what adjustments are made. It will take extensive patience, knowledge, and tenacity to ride this one out. But, at the end of the day, I enjoy this game. I am in it for the long run. default smiley (y)

Draft horses! When did someone hear of this?
By Retired breeder, February 21, 2015 01:57:34

As I've heard from past answers I believe all the meadows with scarecrows will become meadows with pastures.

I know they aren't required - that wasn't my question.

Thank you to everyone who advised that the scarecrows should just become tractors default smiley :)

Wow, I can't wait until the new updates arrive!

Draft Horses! (Squee!)

(Stares at the calender on my wall and waits patiently)

I am also happy for those equestrian center updates, too!

I'm not really worried about my EC with these changes - ever since I created my EC at 20 days, I've just been buying as many 3*** boxes as I can, putting showers in them, etc. I still have a long way to go getting my EC as ready as I want it to put horses in, so, since I don't have everything set up yet it isn't so troubling for me.

Okay - something that has me scratching my head a bit - troughs multiple energy and moral given by the drink action by 4 and they work with the fountain from the Grand Prix which doubles the energy and moral of the drink action by 2 - does that mean if you have the fountain and the nox your horse is in has a trough the energy and moral given by the drink action is multiplied by 8?

Just something that has me wondering

Bethana: I was replying to Sandfire, I didn't even see your question. Sorry I should have specified.

Not quite sure where the drink bonus is going at this point. It was stated at one point that with a trough the action would be multiplied by something like 4 >.> which would mean 8 (all for that), but as I deleted my Int account a while back, I am not currently testing, so someone else will have to verify.

I am still looking forwards to this set of changes, I just wish I was not working that day so I could tinker around a bit. I am gonna hold off on my summer crop until they go through, and probably sell the 500k+ worth of wheat bedding I have been idly hoarding to try and get some things going.

Still debating on where my EC should stay though. Forest really does seem like the way to go, but I like to be self-supplied, meaning iron = saddles/bridles galore for me, and the Studs bonus since I am too cheap to buy them all the time.

I dont visit the forums as much as I used to so I'd like to ask: What are "spoilers"? What is their use? What is their value? Why use? Why not use?

Please advise and dont just tell me to "go back a few pages". Thanks. H.T.
I'm leaning towards beach, but that is probably just because I love beachy things. :3 Then my EC name "Ukulele Heights" will feel a little more relevant. I'm not sure though. It will definitly take some toying with.

The tractors are basically scarecrows with a different name and picture, right? No difference other than that?
