Is the V______ A_____ tradeable on the test server or is it another one of those non-tradeable bmis? I'll probably get one for fun, but I don't know what I'd do with it. I was also pretty happy with the coat change .

Not sure I like the way they will "Help out" a breed. It takes the challenge out of it for teams trying to become the top breed. It will give other teams a good run for their money, not sure I like the update in general. default smiley (y)default smiley (n)

Wait, so what do the gp changes do, exactly? This doesn't really make sense.

I've only just skimmed through it, but to my understanding, it helps out breeds that are very far behind of the top gp, for example, Irish Hunters. The gp increase of a horse's offspring would be greater if the parents' gp were farther away from the gp line.

Guys, don't freak out about that. I had to reread it a couple times to understand it, and all it's pretty much saying is that the baseline for the GP increase is different across breeds, and they're evening it all out. It's already at the point where the farther away you are, the higher your GP gain. Instead of increasing based off the top GP of your breed, you'll increase based off the top GP of the game... or something like that.

I'm just curious why only one breed is affected if they all have differing baselines. I'd like to read more about it soon.

From what I understand reading it, and from what some hardcore bluppers have discovered in terms of GP gaining. . .

There is an overall 'cap' on GP for each server that slowly (but steadily) increases as the top horses push it higher and higher. Each breed has its own cap based on the top horses within the breed. The higher the GP of the breed the more GP increase lower gped horses will get when bred together.

What it sounds like is that there was a variable coded into each breeds coding that caps their gp increase to a certain amount. Meaning, some breeds will not increase their gp as fast as others, no matter how hard you work at it, because their baseline coding will not allow them toe exceed a certain increase.

I think what it means is that there's a certain gain for when you breed two horses together, and that gain gets larger, the farther away those horses' gps are from the gp of the top gp horse of that breed, and they're changing it to where all gp gains, for all breeds, are dependent on the top horse of ALL breeds on the game?

For the Vintage Apple, would we be able to place it on a divine? For example, a sleipnir? I honestly really liked the way the sleipnir horses looked, so it would be interesting if I could put the VA on one!

@jennyrocker- I highly doubt it, they usually don't allow customization items on divines so I don't see why this item would be different.
