Why can't I put the Amira's Saddle Cloth on any of my horses???

Your horses need to have never had a saddle cloth on or your horses don't meet requirments. It is hard to answer to me at least for me

Any idea of when the next pass promotion will be? I really need to purchase some but it's painful when I passed up a +10 the other day default smiley :'(

I will admit that I haven't been reading the stories very much, but if Amira is supposed to be the queen of Ancient Egypt, that could have some overlap with Bucéphale, who seems to be inspired by Bucephalus. Bucephalus was Alexander the Great's horse. Alexander the Great conquered Egypt in 332 BC. At the very least, it seems like an interesting opportunity for a storyline.

I start school on August 31st, so I'll be covering my own grave with unfinished math homework by the time the VA comes out. default smiley :o Oh well... no homework important enough to miss an item I've been hoping for for so long.

So, about the VA, do we have to search all of Howrse to find the 10 candles? I'm not sure if I'm able to find things, and I want a VA so badly.

There are hints on where to go and once you find one candle the hint for the next one will show up.

Here are some of the hints

Clue no. 1: The first candle is located on this page! *the promo page*
The candle is sitting on the table near the stack of plates

Clue no. 2 : do you know where to go when you're looking for a player?
Community > Directories > The candle will be sitting next to the 'See Today's Birthdays' button

Clue no. 3 : why don't we see which players are celebrating their birthday today?
Community > Directories > Click 'See Today's Birthdays' > the candle will be sitting near the background image (two people on horse back)

Clue no. 4 : how about you, have you already filled in your birthday in-game?
My Account > The candle will be sitting right next to where it says 'My personal info'

Clue no. 5 : let's go visit the players whose birthday it is!
Community > Directories > See Today's Birthdays > Then visit the profile page of a player whose birthday it is > the Candle will be next to their username

Clue no. 6 : a Birthday trophy could one day be yours. What level have you got to?
Achievements > My Trophies > Then scroll to the bottom where it shows the 'Birthday Trophy' > the candle will be there

Clue no. 7 : have you noticed in sales that you can sort horses by the month and year they were born?
Trade > Sales > more criteria > the candle will be in the middle of the box

Clue no 8: find a horse with a Sept 8 birthday

Clue no 9: Sorry but can't find this one..default smiley :(

Clue no 10: Feel free to invite someone to play Howrse. #10

Does anybody have a link to a horse born on september 8th? Well, I guess maybe on september 8th this year there will be a lot of foals born (that works, too, right? Giving birth to a foal, then going to his/her page?)

I went through most of my horses last night and pulled the two that I found that were born on Sept 8th. They are in my 'Favorite Horses' box. Players will need to flip through it though.

Whiskey Whispers and Brunblakk are their names. I do plan on having something on my presentation directing players to my 'Favorite Horses' box where they can find the two horses - I'll likely end up changing their names to 'September 8th!' or something similar to further help players out.


It sounds like this is happening in about two weeks, so we should have some time to put together a list of horses born on Sept. 8th.

You find 10 candles hidden across Howrse (don't worry, there are clues. It's a scavenger hunt. If you can't find them, I believe Cyberhorse has already posted where all of them are [except one]). Once you find them, you get the VA. It's 100% free!
