Not sure if this has been asked, if it has I'm sorry.

Say you wait for the 24th and go straight for the Divine tree, hanging onto your ornaments along the way. Is there a way to buy the individual ornaments you need like the treats for the Halloween Promo or are they just going to be in a pack?

I only stepped onto the test server briefly, but from what /I/ saw and perhaps this changed, you were only able to buy each 'type' of decoration. For example, Garlands, Baubles or Ornaments, not the specific ornament or bauble ect. that you needed. I fiddled with some testing and just bought bulk packs to test it out to see some things.

Rarity scale wise it looks like it will go Garlands, Baubles, Ornaments as pass to decoration amount decreased from Garland to Bauble and on to Ornaments. With those categories are different tiers of rarity, though it has been noted I believe that Garlands it does not matter which color you are using for your trees, but Baubles have 4 'sets' each with 4 different patterns. Ornaments are all specific use.

Long and over detailed, they are released in a pack not individually.
