such hypocrisy wanting to have players have equal opportunities but howrse makes trophies count in the rankings and divines are not always available. You want the player who doesnt work or pay to play to have an equal opportunity to someone who does?

I don't see how this will make it safer. As said, most of us really don't know the players we give co-management to (unless you know them outside of this game). You are still giving a stranger co-access. Sure they get kicked off once you log on, but a lot of damage can be done within a short period of time. And now you won't know until you have logged back on, when previously you could be on and see it happen. I'm not sure how removing co-management works when someone is on your account, but it should just forcibly close them out of your account.

I want one thing very clear.

Targeted stomping is not allowed. We all have opinions, some very strong ones but anyone that goes out of their way to intentionally target any player here whose opinion differs from theirs will get into deep trouble.

Keep the language clean also.

Hi there as a leader of a top team I thought I should address a few things stated here... I am also not looking for fight as I hardly post stuff...

but as a leader I feel like its my duty to say a few things...

my people are told to only enter empty comps.... we don't enter over people because we where once in their shoes, and if it does happen its usually auto comp ......And I can say that most of my team fills for other players.....I do it quite often.... not just for our team.... we make sure that people who don't have other people filling comps can get the 20 wins they need because we know how hard it is to do so with only being allowed to place 2 of your own horses in comps.... so if you are saying the filling is cheating... then we need to stop filling for these players asap.... because I like to play fair

Contact us has stated that filing isn't cheating

default smiley (o)Would you rather we put great horses in every comp to where we keep them full and little players like you never get your wins? I myself have put a lot of time and energy into the great horses and unicorns I have. I too started at the bottom but did work my way to the top. I did not do it less than a month or even less than a year. It took me years. default smiley (o)

I don't know that this needs a spoiler, but better to be safe than sorry...

There's a short answer to all of this. Howrse limited two horses per person per competition for a reason, and I don't believe people need to be working outside those constraints.
Occasionally filling is one thing, but I have seen it way too many times, where one team has four horses to a competition, and that's just in fillers. How is that fair to the entire population of Howrse players? Just because someone is a member of a large team, does not mean they work harder or mean they are entitled to anything.
It's about time a change come.

Ok, here is an example, I have a 350 GP mare, I haven't been able to get wins in a long while, why? TOP horsea STOMP HER! That's why people need help filling for more than 2 spots.

If you don't like the way the comp is filled out, then don't register its as simple as that default smiley ;)

This is going to get a lot worse. I hope you all are prepared to get lower g.p horses stomped since we can no longer fill like we have been doing. so basically we will all benefit from your horses losses to get our gains, instead of us doing as we have been doing and filling empty comps and avoiding the other horses

I agree with this being a step in the right direction but this was not a good idea they already have a mechanic in game for player roles with teams why not extend that to account sharing? It would be even safer and easier to manage then this odd feature they are proposing. You can set up each role and give the players you allow to co manage your account with roles. You will be able to control how much access someone has to your account. This outrageous update will just make account sharing difficult and may even cause players to share passwords since the system is changing for the worse. Honesty if anyone puts someone on account sharing and their account gets ransacked then its the players fault who gave access. This is the equivalent to giving your friends the key to your house. Your house is your responsibility and if your house is robbed when you come home it was your fault for giving your friend a key. What if I don't log out and I'm not on a for a few days? I didn't set my co management and when i left i didn't even know i would be gone for the few days. Then what is the point of this feature? Also about leveling the playing field how about we start with trophies instead? They impact your ranking which is unfair. It forces you to own divines if you want them all. The divines you need are not always available Seniority trophies and player birthday trophies are impossible to catch up with. Also a lot of players pay money to play this game or put a lot of time in it. Comp stomping is a problem this feature might just make that worse. One person might have filled empty competitions to get their horses wins so they don't stomp other people. If they can't fill for themselves they might resort to entering other competitions with lower skilled horses to get their wins. Whether howrse goes through with this update or not the top teams will still fill their competitions with their team mates. How is getting quick wins a monopoly? Filling competitions so you can get 100 blup so you can breed your horses and progress faster is how you can catch up to the top teams with this monopoly on the top horses. You are only making it easier for the top teams to have this monopoly. Also if howrse didn't want so many people on an account at once why did they make it an option for VIP players for be able to co manage with 10 people? Maybe they should have thought things through before implementing them. A flawed feature will not fix a flawed feature.

And there is nothing wrong doing this. All comps are fair game. What crosses the line is specifically looking for a specific affix/player knowing you are targeting that player when their are lots of other comps that could be entered.

The biggest change that did your BLUPS to everyone is the new need 20 wins/ 10years for good GP gain system put in back in Novembers Update.

Before this we rarely ran fillers for the comps. Now it is a necessary evil to get the wins needed to progress. If they want people off everyones' accounts then stop it period make everyone stay on their own accounts,. But in doing so you wont be able to delete accounts for inactivity anymore.

It still makes it harder for less experienced players to get wins
Ok maybe stomping is the wrong word. Blanketing.

Blanketing is entering excessive numbers of comps in an attempt to win the 20 wins, thus using up more comps than needed - meaning less empty comps, also making it harder for newer players to win comps.

Do we really prefer this to how teams enter 20 empty comps, fill them quickly, and be done.

Is this a better term for us to use?

People are overusing the idea of 'stomping'

'Stomping' is intentionally target a specific player's specific horse in order to intentionally deprive them of obtaining wins.

Scoping out your competition before entering a comp and choosing to enter it because the horse's entered cannot beat your horse is not stomping. So one person entered a horse in 20 comps that your horse happens to have access to. That is what competition is. Personally I hate entering empty comps because you have no control over who enters afterwards. I look for comps I can win, or think I can win looking over skills and doing some quick basic math.

Do I occasionally get a horse that ends up against someone that sweeps them under the rug? Yes, yes I do. Sometimes I get unis that don't pick up a single win. That's what competition is, and if I had time to devote I could go back and spend some time looking for better win chances.

But it does not, and will not make getting those wins impossible. It takes effort now (or it should). Do I get salty to find 0 wins and 25 seconds? Sure I do. But I have never shirked 'stomped' over it, even if it was the same horse that beat me out every competition. That's the nature of competition, you win some, you lose others and that's okay.

Most of my unis are below or at current GP foundation level, not all of them obtain 20 wins before they start breeding, that is okay with me. I could go back, I choose not to. I guarantee I could take a 350 original foundation and still have their wins in less than a week. With a bit of effort, it could be done with a donkey. It just a bit of patience and not demanding instant gratification.

It's not possible when you have people purposely going in and putting their top horses in over your foundation. It's taken me a LONG time just to get my foundation to have 5-10 wins. I can't get the last wins cause of people filling their top team horses in because they can't use their team members accounts to fill their own.

I feel like no one except few players are understanding what we are trying to say.

Yes, we use co to help us with fills. We do this so we can enter empty comps and gain wins easily. With the new changes this will make it harder. Because it becomes as harder we will be forced to blanket comps and steal wins from lower class horses. This makes it more UNFAIR for the other players as they keep having to re -enter comps.

We aren't taking anything away from the other players.

Also with this new update, I use the stay logged in feature as most players do. I don't have time to log out and log back in over 20+ times a day and having to click the button for my comanager to activate it. This is a waste of time.

The part you are missing is that co management was never intended for teams to use it to fill 1/5 or 5/5 of any comp. So it doesn't matter what changes you feel this change will do for the purpose you are using it for.

If you need to log out 20 times a day so a co manager can fill team comps then that clearly shows it's high traffic rate is well beyond Howre's original intention for this feature.

If this is about more people working on one account giving that account an advantage I'm thinking this has to do with the rankings. Then why have a player ranking at all? After all no matter what "People will always find a way around restrictions when properly motivated."

The threats are already out there against those of us who support admin on this issue. There are going to be some comp wars over this - you can bet on it. I hope you Mods are prepared.

I have a BIG red hammer (Hallaloth has the whip). LOL

But seriously you will be putting your ability to play on the line if we see any sign of retaliation against any player, no matter what side you are on.
