Is the purpose of this promo to see how the visible tack looks like? I think the western bridle makes them so cute , I thought it would be bad , but its not that bad. But think about all that graphic designing and things it looks to deign the tack and new coats, it looks like a lot of hard work !

I totally want to see the donkey coats and can't wait for the new GVs!!!

Not to complain, but I personally preferred the old coats MUCH more! I must say, I miss the old Teke coats so much, and the Thoroughbreds--not that I enjoyed their coats too much previously--look worse than before! I'm sorry but I miss my old coats!

I like the new ones. I tried to put GAs on the breeds I didn't like the old PSH horses, look at my unicorns most of them have GA coats. I like these WAY better

Man, my flame has been totalky drenched. I loved the looks of the Highland Ponies and saved enough points to get one. It was a male and I saw a female that was cheap so I sold my male so I could buy her. Then I found out that she had four different breeds in her. I feel so stupid.

I posted this on the Howrse Blog comments thingy, but I'll do it again here since I would like some feedback now and my comment is being validated.
I’m not too big on the whole “new players can skip the objectives and go straight to collecting trophies thing” especially when one of the missions for the Big Challenge is “donate something to a new player”. I know you don’t *have* to do it, but it bugs me that new players are getting the hand-out. The objectives took me ages. Especially “breed a unicorn”, “win 10 comps with a foundie”, “buy a horse 25+ with 0 skills”, and “find a horse on __/___/___” Obj 91 horses will lose all their value! That’s not fair to the people who have herds of them. Can people who completed them at least get a little something? It seems fairer to me…Or if it’s not a lot of equus [max. I'd be willing to pay is 1000e] or it’s something that isn’t very valuable like an apple, a turnip, a piece of low quality tack, a P. Box or BO [since I know new players will probably need it] then I’d be fine. But I’m not going to give somebody like 10000e or a high-end/made-to-measure bridle/saddle just because they’re new. It doesn't seem fair. Everything else I’m all for.

I better stop moping in the forums before I get in trouble. My horses are trying to cheer me up. They are giving me APs. I love APs.

I want my beautiful Fresians back - this change is just ugly and looks absolutely nothing like the breed. The old image was a much truer representation of the breed than whatever this is supposed to be.

I personally like the Friesian coats. Hate me for it if you wish but I didn't like the old ones.

I'm not really into Friesan breeding but I will agree that the old one was better.

I don't think they will honestly. One of the mods(ElissaN?) has two of them.

They are not gonna be changed... they get a little "box" around them and retain the original design:
