There is a rumor on UK Howrse that because Gypse is becoming a Gemstone Divine he is going to be in reserved sales soon.

Duck Lover-That's not a rumor; Gypse has been officially announced as changing to Gypsum. However, the Gemstones in reserved are as yet an unconfirmed rumor.

I think you misunderstood me a little. Earlier this month or so there was a rumor that the Gemstone Divines would be in reserved sales based on something on International, but instead we got the pinatas. Now that Gypse is a Gemstone Divine, people are saying he will perhaps be in reserved sales.

The Great Challenge is here to stay. There will be a horseshoe-gathering stage, where VIP's can win the Divine, a lottery where regular players can win the Divine and special items, and a two-day break. After that, it'll start all over.

Pasos are the Mexican currency. They're only worth a couple of pennies in US dollars.

Mexican currency is a peso. A Paso is short for Paso Fino, a South American breed of horse that is capable of using three inherited gaits aside from Walk, Trot, Canter and Gallop. The Paso Fino is from Puerto Rico, the Peruvian Paso is from Peru but is a related breed.

Their special gaits are lateral and very showy. The forelegs have an extravagant dishing action and the back tilts severely toward the ground, keeping his hindlegs underneath and pushing him forward. They are:
paso fino: a collected, elevated movement
paso corto: an easy travelling pace
paso largo: an extended fast gait which they can sustain for long distances and is extremely comfortable to ride.

Their counterparts in the US would be the Missouri Fox Trotter and the Tennessee Walker, both of which have special natural gaits. The Saddlebred has special gaits but they are taught and enhanced by trainers. The 'natural gaited' do it from a very young age.

Oooh, I hope that Estimate on Sapphire is high. I hope he is only 15, he only gives 15 a month. Pluto gave 9-ish and was 10. I just want him to eventually get my Topaz, either way, getting the skills on him is going to be a pain.

Why would Emerald be so cheap if you can get Topaz from her??

Earth cost 10 passes, and she can be bred for Moon. Plus, as allisa said, these are just guesses.

Because Emerald ONLY gives you Topaz. Neither of them give you any diamonds for working them, so having them both means about 400 diamonds (or 40 passes worth of diamonds) to get them fully skilled for no return at all.

Do you have to have both Sapphire and Emerald to get Topaz or do people offer stud services? I really hope the rumor becomes a reality--I've wanted Topaz since the first day I started playing Howrse!

People offer coverings and if you can't find one in public covers you can often message a player who owns Sapphire and they will send you one.

@sara1212- yes, it's to discuss rumored new features/events coming to howrse(from the test server mostly, but sometimes we get news from international and the french test server as well). Read Ow's first post at the top of the page- it explains the purpose of the thread.
