I guess it's a matter of opinion. To me they look quiet, peaceful, content, relaxed even which is how I prefer my horse to look.

I can live with them all except for the Newfoundlands, Mustangs, Knabstruppers, Friesans, and Gypsy Vanners.
I agree, Hallaloth.default smiley (y)

I also think that the new Curly coat went through the washing machine >.< I don't want the PSHs to be changed either.
I think so about the curly coat too! It looks... TOO curly, if you know what I mean. I've seen pics of curlies in real life and most don't look like that.

True, but if you ask me, it is an improvement over the old ones. The old ones look like they have afro puffs all over their bodies default smiley (lol)

A curly's coat is curlier in the winter than in the summer, the summer being more wavy than curly. Most pictures of curlies that I've seen have been during late spring to summer, or early fall.

Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholderdefault smiley ;)
See, I feel like the current Curly has /too/ much Curly. Most Curlies that are fairly well groomed do not look like they just came out of the washer and are not super poofy. I like the newer one, I also really really like the AT and the PSH. Still hoping someone posts Connie though.

Hallaloth,

It's the fact there is no light reflected. Add a tiny pixel of gray into the eye to symbolize a little light being reflected and they would look relaxed to me instead of listless.
Hallaloth, we seem to agree about most of these things.default smiley (y)default smiley (lol)

I agree with some people who are saying some breeds have weird necks! I think the quater Horse needs to be just a tad bit stockier! I don't mind the other horses but the horses im about to list are the ones i have a problem with!
The Gypsy Vanner and The Freisan need WAY more feathering in the legs! The fresian mane needs to bw worked on. Other than that im fine with those!
The shetland pony, ok it needs a little bit more work...honesly i think they should mix the old and new shetland together to make the best shetland! The Nokota has the same problem, just needs to be mixed with the old nokota! These are my opions so no hate!

I also think the quater horse face and some other horses look depressed! Also they are kinda of masculine not feminie! So i think howrse should
Fix the eyes on some horses
Fix some manes and tails
Mix some horses with the old coats
Then they will be superb!
I love the new PSH coat, the only small issue I'm having with it is that the head seems out of proportion with the rest of the body - it's quite small. Baroque breeds are noted for having large, occasionally roman heads. A small head is quite out of character, except for the few strains that have a heavy influence of Arabian blood in them.

How do you tell masculinity from femininity on a horse? There really isn't much difference except sometimes females are slightly lighter boned, and smaller. It can be quite difficult to tell the difference between male and female horses without actually looking for the differences. default smiley (lol)

Well... Some have more of a male look in their features than other! I don't think they should say that it is just an opinion!
I think the Arabian head should be a lot more arched (Because they are in real life). I'm still not happy about those, but I'll just have to "Pony up" and deal with it.default smiley xd

I'm so glad The Akhal-Tekes and PSH are changing! I've always hated their coats because of the phony look... but now I love them! (No offense to any who disagree, just my opinion.)default smiley (h)

In what sense? Realistically the only way to tell the gender of a horse is to, ehm. . . 'check' While it is true that studs tend to be a bit bulkier, you have pretty stocky mares too and very refine looked studs. Size and body shape are hardly an indicator.

If I'm not mistaken, "pony up" means to tie (oneself on a horse) behind a horse and walk/trot towards a destination. Let's hope you're on a horse and not just tying yourself behind a horse; I don't think I could keep up with a trotting horse!
Ummm... I meant, as a metaphore, to deal with it, go "whatever" and carry on. Not to tie myself behind a trotting horse...?default smiley (o)
