I thought this horse was so pretty at a show with a friend. I got a bunch of pics from him because he was a mustang.

the spots on the few spots need to be larger and fewer, but other than that, I guess it doesn't look too bad considering breed variances.... although I still say they need bigger chests, but ah well.

That liver chestnut color looks more like a bay.
Here are some of the new coats, taken from INT server, credit to Svengali. default smiley :-))

UPDATE TO THE GA / 5th / MB ANNOUNCEMENT:
Click to display

Hello everyone,

Following all your comments and after discussing the initial customisation priority review at length among ourselves we have come to a decision.

Here is what will be happening in effect:

- We abandon the rule where putting a Medusa's blood on your horse after a golden Apple removes the Golden Apple. Things remain as they are for the moment on the game.

- The pegasus that wear a Golden Apple that isn't from the Pegasus specie remain as they are. There will be no compensation with Medusa's Bloods as they remain on the horses.

- The new bonus values for the 5th Element remain.

- The BONUS rule modification REMAINS.

If you place a Special Coat item over another Special Coat item the bonus from the last item applies.

So if you put a:

Golden Apple on a 5th Element => The horse has the Golden Apple Bonus
Bewitched Pumpkin on a Golden Apple => The horse has the Bewitched Pumpkin Bonus
Bewitched Pumpkin on a Splint Boot => The horse has the Bewitched Pumpkin Bonus
Splint Boot on a Golden Apple => The horse has the Splint Boot Bonus
5th Element on a Bewitched Pumpkin => The horse has the 5th Element Bonus
Etc...

The Medusa's Blood ISN'T a special coat item
Your horses can't combine bonuses from Special Coat items by stacking them.

By special coat items i mean Diamond Apples, Golden Apples, Bewitched Pumpkins, 5th Elements, Splint Boots

That is all that will finally be coming with next update
Thank you for being patient with us.

It really upsets me when people say they think that the current mustang coat looks deformed and the new one is perfect. And I mean not to get anyone mad or defensive on this post, because I know full well that that is you opinion.
And I don't have to big a problem with the new look - only that it is to far from the one we have now.
Frankly Howrse should try to do a mix of both coats.

My Thoughts:
I am ok with the legs.
The tail could be a bit more out like the current one. But that doesn't really matter.
Bigger chest.
Higher head.
Main facing us -optional-.
Either a thinner neck or a more muscular effect on the body.
Sorry the Thoroughbred pic was fuzzy. Here's a better one.

Justice, I agree with your assessment on the mustang proportions.default smiley ;)

The lighter colored Stangs look better in my opinion.

I like most of them... But not the shetland or friesian! The shetland now is soooo cute!
Yes, they do look good, Solei. And I expect with the new updates, the more unpopular coats will be higher in demand.

thanks for posting all the coats, ~*Star*~!

I'm mostly okay with the new coats, agree with others on not liking the mustang or the GV coats so much. Really like the teke update though. It'd be nice if they updated the foal coats to reflect the changes to the adult coats as well. I do wish the coats were less static, would be nice to have them in slightly different positions instead of just standing (it's probably to do with the visible tack).
No prob.default smiley :)

I agree the Teke is awesome but the GV is horrible.default smiley :'(

With the Tack-New Coats-New Coat Colors-And Ec updates I hope it is really spanned out it's too much for me to take in a few months. Maybe by summer?
By Retired breeder, March 18, 2014 19:20:13

if anyone wants to see a different coat color for a breed, try this.
The colour code is the last bit before the .png (cremello - cml, black = nr, roan = rn, etc)
URL for Roan TB: http://gaia.preprod.equideow.com/media/equideo/image/chevauxv4/adulte/thoroughbred/normal/300/rn.png?8
URL for Black TB:
http://gaia.preprod.equideow.com/media/equideo/image/chevauxv4/adulte/thoroughbred/normal/300/cml.png?8

Just thought some of you might want to see diff colors.

Also, fleabitten Lusitano / PSH / etc. coat.

Srill not overly happy about the GV and Freisian LOL!

Both need more feathers at the hoofs
The mane and tail need to be longer and more wavy on both

the stocky "look at me im a workhorse" look is gone.

Freisian and GV are "technically" classified in the work horse category, the same category as Clydesdale and Shires. Just they are shorter. These 4 workhorse breeds originally were used to pull plows and carts on farms, till they got glorified into show horses. SO in turn they should be a bit bulkier (muscular). the new look make them look like an average horse.

Precisely, Pissa1, I think the same. The Shetlands and GVs and a few others really anoy me. Also, Arabians look (In my opinion) more realistic now then they will then.
