I have completed the M___ promo and this is what I found.

Click to display

First you can redo any maze after doing the second one, after doing 2 mazes, however you will not get a Second Drum.

You can go back and do any maze but cannot go forward without completing that next maze. This is like the Magic rides or treasure hunt promos. So complete all mazes and you can go back and do any maze you want ( including the divine one, but you will not get a second divine).

It took me 60 passes with using the special offer of treats in the TC and treats can be found at ALL levels,. including if you were given a consolation prize ( if you lose at any level). You do not necessarily get a higher number of treats the more levels you get to.

My recommendation is to collect what you have at level 3 as losing at level 4 or higher can be dicey.

Extra info--

I found a SOA on maze 3 at G3 and a TC on maze 4 at K15.

One tester did not get the Drum horse because they did not take the one last step of clicking on the shiny blue ball that is in the prize box at the end of the Maze so be sure to do this.

When you go to post, just above it will be 3 little icons; a chain, a picture portrait (looks like a pic of a mountain), and an eyeball. The Spoiler tags are the eyeball. Click that, then write in between the tags. default smiley (y)

It should be noted too that testers are going to get a higher total than is 'norm' for a promo. Goal is to test the promo, complete it and give some information on it. Since we typically have 14 days to complete an event

Click to display
Assuming we have a solid 14 days to complete the Maze you should be able to get 168 moves without the use of treats or using special offers. If you have a horse giving the full 5 paces per hours, and one space is 10 paces that amounts to 12 spaces per day. 14 x 12 = 168. Speculating that you will get at least a handful of useful treats you can probably tack on at least 30 extra moves thanks to treats. So anyone who bothers to play /should/ get to the Drum horse and possibly finish maze 2 and be into Maze 3 by the time the promo ends barring major detours off the main paths and getting lost. Which is a reminder to players, maps always get posted, please utilize them!

This is correct. If you want an individual breakdown here it is( thanks to International).

Average number of sweets per TC level = 4 sweets

default smiley default smiley (b) Maze 1 - Draft (Drum Horse)
If completing straight away...
-> 100 free paces = 10 free steps
-> 25 steps remaining / 4 sweets (if stopping at 1st level of TC) = 6.25 TCs (12-14 passes)
OR
-> 25 steps remaining / 8 sweets (if stopping at 2nd level of TC) = 3.125 TCs (6-8 passes)

If waiting for free steps...
-> Can be completed in 50 hours (2 days 2 hours)
-> No passes needed!

default smiley default smiley (b) Maze 2 - Ow's Helios Ray
If completing straight away...
-> 100 free paces = 10 free steps
-> 69 steps remaining / 4 sweets (if stopping at 1st level of TC) = 17.25 TCs (34-36 passes)
OR
-> 69 steps remaining / 8 sweets (if stopping at 2nd level of TC) = 8.625 TCs (12-14 passes)

If waiting for free steps...
-> Can be completed in 138 hours (5 days 18 hours)
-> Would take 7 days 20 hours with maze 1
-> No passes needed!

default smiley default smiley (b) Maze 3 - Titan's Challenge
If completing straight away...
-> 100 free paces = 10 free steps
-> 109 steps remaining / 4 sweets (if stopping at 1st level of TC) = 27.25 TCs (54-56 passes)
OR
-> 109 steps remaining / 8 sweets (if stopping at 2nd level of TC) = 13.625 TCs (26-28 passes)

If waiting for free steps...
-> Can be completed in 218 hours (9 days 4 hours)
-> Would take 16 days 0 hours with mazes 1 and 2
-> No passes needed!

default smiley default smiley (b) Maze 4 - Divine (Sekhmet)
If completing straight away...
-> 100 free paces = 10 free steps
-> 143 steps remaining / 4 sweets (if stopping at 1st level of TC) = 35.75 TCs (70-72 passes)
OR
-> 143 steps remaining / 8 sweets (if stopping at 2nd level of TC) = 17.875 TCs (34-36 passes)

If waiting for free steps...
-> Can be completed in 286 hours (11 days 22 hours)
-> Would take 28 days 22 hours with mazes 1, 2 and 3
-> Need passes to finish

Pass calculations...
-> 100 free paces = 10 free steps
-> 143 steps remaining
-> Promo runs for 19 days (estimated)
-> 19 - 17 days (time taken to complete previous three mazes) = 2 days remaining
-> 12 free moves per day x 2 = 24 free steps
-> 143 - 24 = 119 steps remaining
-> 119 / 4 sweets (if stopping at 1st level of TC) = 29.75 TCs (58-60 passes)
OR
-> 119 / 8 sweets (if stopping at 2nd level of TC) = 14.875 TCs (28-30 passes)

Still, the fact that you can get through 3 of the 4 mazes without spending a single pass. That is huge, considering you are also going to be picking small prizes along the way. I have already made the decision to wait for the Egyptian Divines in sales rather than getting the ones I want in their respective promos, but this seems to be a lovely revamp to the Maze taking into account a lot of frequent requests from players.

@Hallaloth- do we know when the Egyptians will be in the sales?

I seriously doubt any will be available until all of them are released and I believe that will probably take the rest of the year.

After that it will be up to Howrse when they may be released.

I am noting a problem here, just posting it to see if anyone has other ideas. Inside the spoiler as to obey forum rules:

If you are only capable of winning one Drum Horse during the whole promo, assuming everyone wins at least one, doesn't that create a problem for breeding them? After all they can only breed three times like the Donkeys and if some get one male while others get a female... I'm just seeing a supply/demand problem for covers. Is there something I am missing?

Bree: Yes, there will be a large supply and demand. It also happened when the

shire horses/Percherons were released. You can always bolt it. Also, since there will be players breeding foals, then they will go in the sales. I also have a feeling allot of players will have their Hipparions ready to get a second foal.

Wasn't sure if that was supposed to be in a spoiler, since it talks about a new feature, without specifically stating what it is. So I put it in one just to be safe. default smiley (lol)

It could be too they will be running a pass promotion the usual 10 Passes get a horse of the new breed/unicorn which they have done many times in the past. Hipparion is another way many players will get their second, and I am also sure many players will not want theirs which means they will end up sales for those that want them.

There is only one drum available. On preprod I went back through the first maze and there was no Drum at the end so yes only one. It is very possible that new players will be willing to sell as they could get some passes and equs that will give their account a huge boost. If they want a Drum they could always buy later. I can see some ridiculous prices in the sales forum when people win them.

Cyber, Evee & Hallaloth: Thanks!

Specifically to Cyberhorse: default smiley xd I know what you mean, I have seen some utterly ridiculous prices for horses, the really sad part is that some will actually pay that. Nope, I'll hold onto mine and sit it out for a while.

Same here, I don't have extra passes and Equus to spend on a horse that will soon many people will lose interest in and keep breeding the more popular breeds of horses.

Hello, VIPs!

The test site for your game version will open today until July 25th. Check the main game page for the VIP banner invitation.

Updates and features

Unsaleable horses

For all unsaleable horses, we're adding a mesage to let you know why the horse cannot be sold through the Sell icon (back again) + menu next to the horse's name.

However, when you click on this link, it doesn't trigger the usual pop-up with the Sell and Place in the Safe Haven options. Another pop-up appears instead indicating that the horse cannot be sold and the reason.

This applies to the following horses:

Divine horses
Wild horses
Legendary horses
Horses with legendary tack
Horses with a Vintage Apple
Horses with the Golden Apple from the tutorial

Similar to divine horses and horses with the tutorial Golden Apple coats, horses that are not sellable cannot be sent to the Safe Haven.

Bump several horse sales at the same time

If you are a VIP member and have checked both of these benefits:

Purchase several horses or cancel several horse sales at the same time
Bump your horse sale orders to the top

You can now bump several horse sales using the check-boxes on the horse sales page, the same way that you can cancel several horse sales.

The Mazes

Changes:

The sweets can now be found at every level of the Titan's Challenge
The maze must be done in the right order (1, 2, 3, and 4)
The difficulty increases with each maze
A movement uses 10 paces (instead of 20 previously)
There is only one entry for each maze (and no shortcut)
Each entry in a maze, the number of paces recharges to 100
On the map, the route you have taken will appear as a highlighted path
You recharge between 3 and 5 paces per hour, depending on the skills of the horse that is accompanying you.

During testing it is not possible to buy treats or spyglasses. This is so that we can test the Maze event in "real" conditions.

Sekhmet
She will offer you one treasure when she wakes up each day.

By scratching the treasure chest, you have a chance to win:

1 x Themis' Scale
Mashes
Skill points you can assign as desired to any of Sekhmet's skills

Apologies if this has been posted already, I didn't see it on the last two pages.
Darn it! I missed the test server default smiley :(
