First thing you need to do before brewing or anything is to unlock the ingredients needed. You can unlock 6 per day and get the Alchemist gift once you do all of them.

Do your objectives and have a bunch of BM items in your inventory you never use because the removal of the uni horn is the 4th objective EVERY day. You are able to donate a BM item instead of doing the objective on every objective.

Once you have done this then only brew what you really need or want. The blue, red and purple bottles are part of your ingredients for other things so they should be one of your top priority things to brew. They can be used to replace this objective.

Do not go rushing in to buy stuff in the flash sales, prices will be more than they are worth.

So if you do no more than the blue, red and purple bottlers then that is fine as you need to build up a reserve of other ingredients.

I've read that one of the objectives of the new promo will always be remove a unicorn's horn. For those of us who seem only able to produce nonicorns, is there any way to bypass this? Is it critical for getting anything good in the event?

I foresee unicorn prices going up in the near future. Buy now, my friends!

Many of the top tier prizes and some of the potions that are ingredients to make those prizes require unicorn horns. The 4th Objective every single day allows for the removal of a unicorn horn. HOWEVER you are able to instead 'donate' any BMI of your choosing in order to obtain the unicorn horn instead of removing one from one of your own. So if there is a low cost BMI that you have no use for and have a /lot/ of here is your chance to not only get rid of a few as well as getting required horns for the prizes you want. Note that by definition the BMI you are allowed to use for this are the items that in some way shape or form actually appear in the BM itself, bonus items (such as my 141 bell boots) do not count, but things like Apollo's Lyres, PoCs and others will.

That makes me feel a great deal better about this event. I have ridiculous amounts of Pandora's Boxes and WoY's that I never seem to use. Thanks!

I might actually be able to get something from this promo for once, too bad the divine is Virgo and not one of the Egyptians.

Do note, I only glanced at this for about 15 minutes on the test server, but it did offer up every BMI I had in my inventory. So it looks like so long as you have it it can be used.
