What is the point of entering the wandering horses into comps? - do we need to do this to get their gifts or something?

1. The "age" we need to celebrate for a horse will be higher than 30, so strategy would be to prepare 5 to turn 40 and 5 others to turn 50 eh? I'd be really mad if it turns out to be 45 or something though!

2.The question then is, do we get to pick the order in which we unlock them?

No they are set to unlock at certain days apart however you can unlock them by paying passes. The pass will be dependent upon the butterfly. I saw them go from 1 to 4 passes just to unlock early.

3. Blue Morpho - 715 competitions (that's a lot - could be done in one day with enough horses and/or aging points but might be nice to be able to spread it out)

Be prepared to find NO comps available to enter. If we have just 20 players trying to enter 715 comps all within the same time frame OVER and ABOVE what is normally done be prepared to start tearing your hair out.

4.Scribonia - 330 pollen to OTHER wanderers - this will depend on how we get the pollen and how much we can "save it" but this one might need to be unlocked early.

This is unlocked on day one. My suggestion is to use pollen to "finish off the other butterflies as you go and let it do its thing.

On the age a horse to a specific birthday, does it restrict the horse - No divine, no wild, no immortal ?

This is the exact words--Objective: Celebrate a horse's birthday when they reach age 30th - 20 points per horse.

However most divines are too old, I doubt Wilds would work but will ask.

They would have to be for sure immortal.

Immortal horses have been a valid way to do this in the past. Typically Divines are impossible to get to a certain age because you cannot use AP on them and they are already older than the target age. Wilds, I would imagine could work, but there is a possibility that most on server are already older than target age, and most others will be too young unless you want to waste AP.

A trick in the past has been to use MAs and Black Orchids on a mortal horse -> Advantage to this is NO AP used and most people have a lot of unused black orchids.

Another strategy (this is more VIP players or those who have a VIP friend willing to help them out) has been again to use an MA and stick a cloud pack on a mortal horse. The PoC in the Cloud pack can be used at any age, meaning you can then rapidly age the horse to the required age, use a PoC to drop them below that age and then age them again. 1 Cloud Packed horse in the past has been enough for at least 2 people to finish the Wanderer, during one promo there were quite a few loitering around for high prices so people could easily finish, and I am sure a lot had VIP friends willing to loan a horse for a few days for it.

For the raising a horse to x years objective, it could be 40 and not 30 when it reaches the live server. So look out for horses in the sales with M.Arms and/or work on your AP stash(5 years=30 APs). Also stock up on Black Orchids in case you need to keep older mortal horses alive. The objective could specifically be mortal horses only.

A way to kill a few birds with one stone.

Buy older mortal pegs, age them up to near 30 over the next few weeks. When the promo starts you can dewing for one WH, then continue to age to 30/40 for another. Then send them off to heaven to get passes for the HoP objective.

Or keep the pass horses you already have for September, don't send them off in the first few days but wait until the promo starts.

For things like giving apples to other players horses. If you do xanthos/topaz/frost each day. Give them an apple while you're already on their page.

Keep your gifting to friends slots free on the week the promo is to start.

They're right! For once they do something with the zodiac that I like

the remove peggy wings objective.

You do NOT have to go out and buy 20 horses to do this objective. I put on 20 M Bloods on the same horse and remove it 20 times and fulfilled this objective. So if you keep 20 M. Blood BM items in your inventory you will save yourself a ton of money. Will be an easy objective to do.

That will only be known when the promo goes live so everyone will know at the same time. Also the special offering for this promo is a pollen pack of 6 of each color for 1 pass.

How is pollen sold that isn't the special package (i.e. what is the standard offering)? And also, how much pollen would be needed for each wanderer?
