Oh wow, I see. I kinda wanted to jump on it and start breeding a new breed but this one has an odd skill set Next time, folks.

Imagine how many people are going to loose their Metal Elements because of this.

If the 5th E's are removed, maybe they can give us the option to be able to have the element we had on previously.
This way people get their rare ones back, and people will only be able to get the ones they had before, meaning hundreds of people won't get Metal elements.

It's not going to happen that way I'm afraid. Luckily, I haven't doubled the fifth element and a golden apple coat, having taken a shine to my fifth element friesian's air coat.

A lot of people are going to lose part of their collections, but fifth elements, to our knowledge, will not be credited back to the accounts they were removed from.

Also, the 5th element is completely random. It would be almost impossible for everyone to get the coats back that they lost without a few tries because if everyone were guaranteed to get the coats they lost, it would be a programmer's nightmare. it would have to be done with almost every individual account that has fifth element horses with golden apples covering the fifth element coats. They would have to come out with five new fifth elements to do it, figure out which horses have which element which can be painstakingly difficult... it would take months to do all that, if not a year or more, and it would only be for a temporary thing. It's not worth Howrse's time to do it that way... and like i said, it would be a programmer's nightmare.

The medusa's bloods coming off is much easier to put back into inventory, as there's only one version of the medusa's bloods. I am also assuming that running scripts for the game the way that the developers do, they'll automatically detect which were applied first, the medusa's blood or the golden apple.



Neva, I agree about the odd skill set. They will be a nightmare to BLUP, but I'm supposing that classical would be the fastest with the way they are set up. That being said, I'm going to aim for two foundation ponies, immortalize them, and then blup them out. After that, I plan on just breeding them and selling all the foals. I may purchase one mare that isn't a foundie to get my equus up higher to get the two Pstones if i can get a pair, and a zbolt if i need it.

It would have been better if the new breed had been released with the lottery and had a 'standard' skill set, but of course, it has to be one of those promos where only those that want them will get them. I'm still trying to get Knabby foundies, Mustang foundies, Nokota Foundies, and I think one or two others... but that's life. Ce La Vi.

Well that's really NOT fair.
Some people paid so much passes for their Metal elements.
I for one paid 900,000e and 20 passes for mine...

They better think of something, because that's just crazy ridiculous.
I'd rather have them not worry about some silly Medusa's Blood.
It's easily attainable, and very inexpensive compared to the 5th E.
I would also think that there's less of the 5th E's out there than pegasi.
It might just take a little effort, but it would be a lot less horses to cover.

Easy is always the best way..... even if it's not the RIGHT way...

I hope they will find a solution to all of this, considering they have better knowledge about programming.
If they can come up with amazing stuff such as Howrse, they can find a way to make it all work.

jenhorselove-They aren't taking the MB away from the 5E, or vice versa, because they change when you put the wings on. You'll still have your 5E if that's the only coat-changing thing put on it (you'll lose your GA if you put a GA on first, along with the GA bonus...)

There is a chance it may start on the 24th, the same day the lotto ends. As this promo started the same day the puzzles ended. I certainly hope so!

There was a gap between the Puzzles and the Lottery. I'm sure there's a small gap between the Lottery and the Howrse Parade. Personally, though I hated the Potions, I'd rather have a Potions promo again. It's better than the Howrse Parade, in my opinion. Also, I got a month of free Pegasus Account in my first Potions. I wouldn't mind having another one.

I'd rather have another Cards promo (over potions or the horse parade) honestly. After the lottery, it's the promo where it seems like you can win the best stuff (for me anyway). Not a fan of the promos where you have to remove bmis/uni horns/etc to get better gifts (potions, gift machines, etc).

I LOVE the Cards! The Art Cards came on right after I joined, and I remember myself as a 20-day-old player racking up items to use for later.

Me too. I don't know what I thought I'd do with the items at the time... I remember I did put a P. Stone on a very low GP Gypsy Vanner cross.

My favorites (in the same order) are - Lottery, Wandering Horses, Cards, Horse Parade, Vegetable Garden, Pinatas, Gift Machines, the candy shop one, Magic Ride (Though, I didn't really try on this one. I'm not sure if I like it or not. From what I played, I don't.), potions.

I don't remember the potions at all.

Candy shop one? Sweet Treats Workshop? That's a Potions promo.

It is what it is: Ce La Vi, and it would be a lot of work for a temporary fix that they wouldn't make any cash off of (and that is not how businesses work). I do agree however that they should credit apples and fifth elements back to the players that had them doubled... but think about it this way, if businesses did what you said howrse should do in making sure everyone got exactly the coat they lost, Microsoft would be out of business because they'd be giving us all free computers when the operating systems we have went obsolete. Those bonuses are going obsolete for the horses that have the golden apple coats.

I think for my fifth element immortal pegasus, I spent... eh... I think I spent less than 50,000, traded two bmi's that i cannot recall what they were now, and a horse with a 1% coat... and that was about two and a half years ago when they were much more rare. I think they had just replaced the adalante pack in the black market with the poseidon pack, and it was before they rolled out with most of the western comps. I think she came with most of the bonuses available at the time as well.

I think you paid for every pass and non pass item applied to the horse in addition to the fifth element.

The cheapest way to get one is to pay for it yourself in the exchanges. When I see them offered, they are usually for 2 philosopher's stones or 2 Nyx packs, depending on the seller. Philosopher's stones, when available, normally cost around 300,000. Right now, Pstones are really cheap and attainable for as low as 100,000 last I checked. I'd stock up on them now, and trade them for one later when the market stabilizes... which might take a while with the change and the lottery and all that.
