I just read through the blog post and found it very interesting - it sounds like Howrse is going to be changing quite radically! I love the creative and team aspect of the possible new changes, as well as the chance to help new players get on their feet. I wonder if our new promotion will be based on this format? In the promotional images Onyx is used as a test image. The future of Howrse certainly looks exciting. Bring on the changes! default smiley :d

I read though the new blog, I like the team aspect of it thoroughly, the only thing im a but leery about is the chances of getting the divine. Granted the promos weren't exactly non pass buyer friendly, but how is this gonna be any more friendlier to everyone?

If i read it right, the divine only goes tot he top contributor(s) what i got from that is someone (like me) who gets on daily, works all (or most) of there horses, and is highly active may have a chance at the new divines, where as a relaxed player (someone who gets on every other day or so, has family to take care of ect.) and the younger players (ages 15 and below who live with their parents and have school, chores, homework, ect) don't stand a chance at all.

Did I miss something there?

Something Im not to sure about is the removal of the objectives, I know that the objectives helped me out giving me a pretty strong foothold in the game, and gave me a goal to work towards.

just my thoughts.

Thursdays and Mondays seem to be the favoured days recently.


That would mean this Thursday the 27th or Monday 31st.

I am betting on Monday as the most likely.

The easier ways to get divines sound cool, but the whole reason I play Howrse versus any other online game is because I ***hate*** MMORPGs, and these new promos make it sound like it's going to start drifting towards that.... default smiley :( I still am pleased by most of what the blog says, but I don't want Howrse to become an MMORPG....

I was looking at the change blog and I hope they don't take away the objectives. I learned a LOT from the objectives and got plenty of helpful items from them. Also, if they took them away, it wouldn't be fair for other players who had to complete them before the change.

I Agree. Without the objectives, there will be too many 'How do I feed my horse' And 'Why is my horse fat?" questions spamming the forums. The objectives are the key to understanding this game. I know the daily challenges are supposed to take the place of the objectives, but if they are daily, you can only do one a day instead of learning several new things in an hour.

Yes, that's one of the other things I don't like. The objectives were relatively easy for me (I lucked out on a lot of them actually), but some players spend months trying to complete them, especially 90 and 91.

I'm on objective 81 and personally, I want to be able to finish it along with all of the other objectives and get the trophies before they remove the objectives. I know, probably not going to happen, but oh well. I'll get as far into them a I can.
