well my thought on the objectives were to drop some of them out, instead of 50 do 100 instead.

Drop out the ones that require Senority mostly

the others such as the Equus ending in x amount teaches money managment in the game, have a horse with Skill above X amount teaches BLUP. So manly my thought was to drop out the ones that dont nessarily teach about the game. Obj 91 doesnt really teach you anything about the game which can be dropped out (though I dont like it as I breed Obj 91 horses lol), Obj 90 teaches about Uni breeding. I could go on and on lol but i wont as it wont matter anyway

I don't think they should take the objs out I mean they helped me learn just about EVERYTHING about Howrse.

I actually like the constant promos. It means I have a constant influx of BMIs and small challenges to complete. But I will still have those challenges, just not the constant BMIs, which makes me sad, cause I have been saving up peggys for a potion type promo

I think taking away the objectives is a bad idea. I learned a lot through them, like many players...

That's SO unfair! So we all had to pay passes and use aging points and time and equus and all that to access trophies and new players get to do it for nothing????

AND what about obj 91 breeders????

I just read the blog! ERR I am so upset! I might cry. All of these changes... Why can't howrse stay it's same awesome self?

I think this every time they change stuff. Don't they notice that lots of people are quitting because of how often the game changes? The reason they have so many players is because so many people like the game the way it is.

I really dislike some of the changes. I'm totally confused about the big game thing with all the community... so only the people that have divines and can be on a lot to get lots of points get prizes? And then there's a promo, and after that it all starts over again? That could get old quick. I like the promos how they are now... if people are complaining because they get prizes, maybe they shouldn't play this game...

And yeah, it took me forever to finish those objectives. Now new players don't have to go through all that hassle for objectives 90 and 91.

Ugh. Those are my only dislikes so far. I'm looking forward to having visible tack, etc. And I like the recent changes.

Howrse wouldn't be a good game without also being flexibly dynamic.
We'll still be BLUPping horses, breeding horses, working occasional promos and complaining about changes.
With a flexibly dynamic game, we must also be flexibly dynamic.

I'm not saying that I'd quit -- I'm just saying that I spent a lot of time on objectives and now, when they're removed, no one will know who actually completed them. Who actually *earned* access to the trophies. There should, at least, be a trophy for doing the objectives.

When are they taking away the objectives? I just have 1 more hard one! Obj. 98!

I got BMI's from them that helped me further my game. Which is fine with me.

The only thing about the removal of objectives that I'm upset about is that I've worked so hard on finding people that will help others with objectives and organizing those that come to us for help so that we can all help someone, whether through lending a horse or giving general advice or using an exchange to get them what they need. My "Objective Mentor" program has really taken off because people can come to us for specific objective help; way more than they could get in the Objectives forum because mods don't like us being extremely specific in that forum. They walk away with trophies, extra BMI's they got from objectives, and (for mine, at least) a trading reference if they ever need one.

And no, there shouldn't be a trophy for doing the objectives. It's unfair to someone who started the day the objectives came out, and to all those with high seniority that has worked hard on their game but ignored the objectives. They won't get a chance to get that trophy *at all*
At least with the seniority/Divine/Wild trophies, you can always get them. There'll probably be at least one more Wild release, and there's a Divine rerelease every year.
