My poor arabs!!They were my first horse and now thier coats look ugly!! I miss the old coats

Howrse Parade ends on the 23rd of April.
Someone joins on 24, after the coats are changed.
They see nothing wrong with the coats because that's all they've known.

Unfortunately that is the 'accepted look' of TWs. They have a rather. . . distasteful, show history in my opinion that brings about such ridiculously stances.



That is actually the classic look o a Fjord.

New Fjord and Actual Fjord You are really not going to get closer to breed standard than that.

I think the old fjords look more like the real ones

I really really really like the rich new colors on the Arabs. Although some of the designs are not my absolute favorite, I think the richer colors really make up for it. I like it

I showed the new coats to my friend too and she started laughing histericly saying that is seriously the horses they put on this game and she also said i was too old for this game and i am between the ages of 20-40

rpbierly, I hear you and agree. I might cry a bit over the Friesians. The vanners are seriously unfortunate too. There were a few coats that were amazing already, and these new ones are not better at all. Instead of being cute they are ugly. I usually am quite supportive of changes in the game, but this is so tragic. The new hano coat is fine, and the paint and the Fjord, but some of the others look really awful and gross.

I have showed these coats to my friends that work at the zoo and my friends who work with horses and everyone of them laghed at the coats and said cartoon horses look more realistic than these horses

Be quite ALL of you! I understand your not happy! Look be supportive how do you think the Mods feel? Or OW with all of you crying and making fun of them? Saying your going to quit, telling the world your friends are making fun of them. How do you think the Designer feels? You realize if people get mad and quite Ow and all the other Admins are losing money. If you quit your messing the lives up for peoples because your throwing a temper tantrum. Look I'm not thrilled but, I got over it. You probably have moved and that was terrible right? Their changing a computer game that's suppose to change its life! So untie your panties and calm down surely its not the only thing has changed in your life if it has well your lucky.

Sorry if that's insensitive, but people have threatened to quit over this, hoping Ow would here it and change the coats back.

She won't.
If you want to quit, quit.
If you don't want to quit, but you think this is terrible, use the ESPN method I've posted repeatedly. That way, you won't have to look at them, and you can thank Ow and her creative support team that they've allowed your horse to be put on a background that can be enlarged and that allows your horses to be shrunk and pushed to the side.



Actually, they aren't. This game isn't pay-to-play, so unless a major pass-buyer (someone who purchases oh, $500 worth of passes a day) quits, it won't put that big of a dent in their profit. Consider that there's probably 20 servers and that Howrse made money *the first day it came out* and you'll realize that even if quite a few pass-buyers were to quit, they'd still have enough to pay their expenses.
Plus, they get new players every day, and some of those players buy passes. I guarantee you some of them that join during this promo and after this promo aren't going to miss the old horse coats.
They've changed the horse coats before, and they'll change them again.

Howrse is actually being used to fund another Owlient game, Dragow. Now, I don't know if Dragow will come to an English-speaking server, but if it does, it will make money as well.



I can see both sides of an issue that people are warring over, and I'm not picking a side. I'm going to deal with it, and look forward to changes that I think will be amazing.

Please realize that I'm not trying to be insensitive, or mean, or cruel, or any other name you're probably calling me right now. Feelings have always been hard for me to put into text; I've been blocked before because people think my words are too harsh. They aren't meant to be.

This topic turned into a rant! Now everyone is purposely trying to make the coats sound bad. Anyway, what coat do you think will come tomorrow? I think QH or Akhal Teke.
