[quote=1396168345]I thought you could buy it Oh well is the lottery going to be the only promo that we are going to have after the big challenges?[/quote

The lottery attached to the Big Challenge is not a promo, it is a part of the festivities that we are working to trigger by finishing the Big Challenge. When we collect all the horseshoes we need the festivities will trigger and it have a 5 day lottery attached to it as well as a few other things that can be scouted out on the Big Challenge's page. When the 5 Day festivities are over a new Big Challenge will begin.

Oh wow I thought the lottery was the only festive also I wonder which festives arew going to be after the lottery?
To the best of our knowledge they are also running HoP promos for the divines offered by each Big Challenge during that time. If anyone with more information has something to add they are welcome, since most of what I know is from reading others and keeping an eye on official channel.

-sigh- it is about the only reason I wish I had kept my Int account since it kept my access to the Test server. Oh well

The majority of passes don't come from the reserve lol. I got enough to get my divines from horse sales.

Why would Kelpie be a place holder?

Gandalf, You could have saved you passes to buy a VIP default smiley (y) If you think about it, You buy on your 50th day, you get another on your 80th, another on your 110th, another on your 140th, another on your 170th, and so on. If you would have saved your passes for VIP, you would have at least five passes (if you buy on with your reserve) . That is five passes you pretty much get for free in your first 170 days. You could save more of your reserve passes, or work for the other five.

addicted, right. I've had as many as ten passes on my hand at once and I'm not a pass buyer. I just worked for them. (Most of them... a few lucky lottery wins helped, but most of them were hard earned default smiley (lol) )

Just takes working harder than normal.

Yes, a little hard work helps... We shouldn't have things in life handed to us. We have no excuse no matter what seniority number or age. Plus, pass buyers run this game, if it wasn't for them, this game wouldn't be free. So, stop complaining and be happy. Life is hard work...

Ok.default smiley :)
(this is a minimessage to get more tha 10 letters)
There are plenty of players whom have never purchased passes and have accomplished quite a few things. It comes down to smart playing, saving, a lot of patience and some actual discipline.

Learn what sells for passes and figure out how you can manage to get in on it Save your passes as well. If you really really want a Divine save for a time where you can guarantee that you have enough Hops and Passes to get it.

I got my Caicius that way. Was one of the first 'Gift Machine' promos. I found every horse I was willing to pull off Helios Rays from, waited for double points in Hops and calculated it out. I even had enough left over to loan some to a friend so she could get hers.

I only purchase passes occasionally, they never get spend on BMI (except the occasional HOP promo, which has never gotten me anything). My entire GA/RC collection was formed with BMI from promos, exchanges, some lucky purchases and a fortune in equus. I am working on the last few breed coat trophies, all either bred by me, a friend, or purchased with Equus. I am picky about what I spend on what, and typically tend to hoard rather than use.

I agree. Yes, you may not be able to get every divine or limited edition golden apple coat without passes, but you can still collect q fair number of things just by being smart about how you use your passes.
By Retired breeder, May 1, 2014 20:36:01

And if you are really good on gimp and the other art programs you can enter a Golden Apple coat or a Background and hope it gets voted in. With that you can make 30-40 passes.

Seniority has nothing to do with buying passes. There are two people that have passes: ones who buy passes with money, and those who earn the passes, and work hard for them. I wouldn't have my Wild or my Divine if it weren't for hard work.
If you or any one want a Divine, they have to do either of the above, not have more seniority.

Too happy right now. It appears selling some of my fav RCs paid off. There were a bunch of Sun coverings and was just able to cover my Earth!!!! It was a cheap too! I can't wait. Moon is my favorite planet divine.default smiley (l)I'd sell Earth if possible but it won't let me.default smiley :(
Sadly my funds have been cut off so I had to get passes for two Earth's and Venus.
I made 30 passes by horse sales and I bought some pass horses too.

I sold a bunch of extra Mustang Uni's I had, kept one for the trophy.
and i was able to snag some very cheap horses that were worth a lot.
