I did a lil more research and I found out that Dragow is a new game coming and it is now only open for beta testing.

According to the Dragow forums (and this is a rough translation):

The mod contest entries are closing today, results are probably going to take a little longer to get to. We have to someone collaborate judging between nine people and comes to agreement for placings. We'll get to it, just give us a few days!

To me that sure makes it sound like they're closing the entire game. "We decided to put an end to the Dragow project and close the game." With no financial help and ideas that weren't working well enough to launch the game, that makes sense. I won't lie though; I'm extremely disappointed. Dragons are my favorite thing in the world, and I would have played the heck out of that game. If they had some kind of donation available to help with the financial situation, I'd have put some money in - that's how much I was looking forward to it.

I'm excited to see the results! There were some really good entries in all categories. A shame there were so many stolen pieces, but hopefully everyone else had fun.

The only things I know in French are "hello," "goodbye," "thank you," and "I don't speak French" so I had to use a translator. If there's errors, I apologize.

And I did ask in that Game Play forum (I signed up awhile ago but wasn't as interested, so yes, I did have an account before they closed registration) if they were closing the entire game or just the beta testing, and two people said that since the game was just a big beta test, if they closed the beta testing, they closed the game. But it's not ending for awhile.

Anyway, is there still no update on Summer? Or are they keeping him as a surprise for after the Lottery?

I took Latin so I can get the general idea, I think the translator was mostly correct. It's a shame. I definitely would have loved it.

I haven't seen anything about Summer. We've seen Fall and Winter and we've got Spring already, but I'm curious about Summer. I wonder if they're keeping him more of a secret because he may have some sort of extra power or bonus or something.

Or you can only get him when you get the other three?

Also, comments about other games aren't spoilers, and if the information has already been released to the populace of said game, it's not a spoiler either So no need to use spoilers. For instance, we are allowed to discuss the EC changes, but it's on the blog

Okay. That's kind of what I thought. I don't see any need to use a spoiler unless it's actually something we haven't seen before that pertains to this game.

OK, I have a really weird question: I've heard about this thing called wOWlf. Is this really gonna be a thing, or is it fake?

Wowlf is a player - started petition I guess? It's not going to happen, but a lot of people (at least in the past) have wanted it.

I think an Owl would be fun.

Owls don't have breeds. Wolves do (technically) but Dowgs would be even more fun!
The only problem I can see with Dowg would be that we call female horses mares... Please make the connection... And I'm sure most people would not want their children on a game that has words that most people use as cuss words...

@ WH - Sires and dams work for dogs. My dog's pedigree lists her mom as her "dam" so I don't think it'd be a problem at all.
