What you are refering to was when they changed the background size a few months ago.

This post on Int explains what I mean.


Not quite.
Do you remember when the format for the rays changed? The then-already existing backgrounds had to be changed by their creators to fit the new format, but not all were. Those backgrounds that were not updated to the new format can not be used any more, they are "retired".

Please welcome the Time Travel Cards on Howrse until the 12/05/2013 07:00!



35 of these cards offer you gifts directly once you've activated them.

You could be lucky and get gifts such as Horns of Plenty, some aging points, some Equus, Harmony Packs or even Hera Packs!

And even maybe the new Banker Wild Horse!



The other cards will be quite useful to complete the Seven Time Travel Puzzles!

When you complete a puzzle it'll offer you the corresponding gift.

These are the gifts you can get when you complete one of the puzzles :
◾Fertility Wand
◾Pyramid's Privilege
◾Aphrodite's Tears
◾Golden Apple
◾Nyx Pack
◾Titan's Challenge
◾The 5th Element

Thanks to some very rare cards you could also get your hands on:

The Chronos' Privilege: allows you to put one Chronos Timer for free on all the horses for which you are the original breeder for a period of ten days.

The Papyrus Privilege: Gives you one Plouto's Parchment per day for a period of twenty days.

If you are skilful and complete all the puzzles, you'll win Thracius the Wind Divine horse!



How can you win cards?
◾When you connect for the first time of the day
◾When your horses win competitions (limited to 2 cards a day)
◾in the Flash Sales
◾By trading cards you have twice (1 times per day for a cost of 5 diamonds)
◾And maybe with a little more help during the contest...

The last card promotion allowed us to buy card packs with passes. I believe that's what the "extra help" is referring to. I don't recall any other way to get cards than those already listed.

I do. "extra help" referred to the Card Packs purchasable in the Black Market for a pass apiece.

It was stated somewhere, possibly just in rumor that instead of being able to exchange cards we already had, they were going to introducing Wild Cards. . . which is really why posting rules from past promotions does not really help, as they almost always tweak something. Personally I hope they just change it to Equus 5k to change a card or something, but who knows.

Does anyone know what Gypsum does or looks like yet? If the answer has already been mentioned, can someone direct me to which page it is on? And does anyone know if they are going to cycle back through the other gemstones? I think that many of you think so because of the last 2 pages. If that has already been answered also, can I get the page for that too?

There's a picture of the new Gypsum on page 267.

We don't know anything about Gemstone sales. It's all complete speculation at this point. The international server has been buzzing about it for a while now - but I suspect they'll just keep predicting it's going to happen until it actually does. default smiley ;)

Yay! I loved the cards. I was very new last time. I am so excited now that it is not just a little murmer in a crowd kind of thing. Becuase of the countdown to the Equestrian Games thing
in France, I am pretty sure it will be starting at the end of the countdown!default smiley :d

When does the count down end though?
Because if you notice the cards say, [quote 'until the 12/05/2013 07:00!' end of quote.]
Isn't 12, December? So that would mean that the cards shouldn't come next month, that's way to long to run a promo. It almost guarantees everyone to win the divine.
Sorry if I'm mistaken by any chance or if hOWrse just don't want to give a hint of when the next promo will really come out. But that's what I see.

The posted card "preview" is just a sample from the last time we had the card promotion. I'm not sure why it was posted - to give those who have never seen the cards an idea of what to expect I guess?

The date shown has nothing to do with the next set.

I understand the confusion. That is just a sample. Based off of last years cards. So there is nothing to worry about. It will be next month if I am correct.
