No. That person said "What if". There is *no* proof that lotteries will give EC things (even though it'd be nice). The last thing we want is for untrue rumors to be spread.

Frankly, as nice as it might be to win prizes for your Ec. I think it would be to much to have yet another lottery/promo/thing. With the GC, then Lotto, and the occasional promo, yet another money quenching event would be too much.

^Unless you meant that the Lottery gave Ec prizes instead of breeder prizes.

I honestly would not want the lottery to give EC items as likely 95% of them would end up being random amounts of seed. . . which, well useful, are not really anything to get excited about. Now if occasionally a shower or 3^ were offered up along the rarity of Hops or something >.> that would be nice.

If I remember correctly it was stated at one point that you would provide all the EC tack. So all those extra 3^ saddles/bridles getting tangled up in my inventory will actually be used finally. At one point I was nearing 100 sets and sold off some for equus. Would be nice to just 'attach' them to a stall and not feel like hoarding /those/ too.

I know for a fact it is not with the next update. I am going to say, and this is a guess based on tidbits of information and timelines posted by others, likely not 'til November.

It is highly unlikely, the only divines that can be sold currently are

Gypsum (unless they changed that since he stopped being Gypse), Diamond and Sun (who at one point were the completion prize for the Gemstone and Planet collections), Moon (who was born of Earth and Sun), Xanthos, Sleiphner, Croesus, Balios and the Falabellas, who were all Divines released into the game before this server opened. None of the new divines have been able to be sold in a while.

Whoa! That divine is so amazing and crazy.

1) Prices are based on supply and demand. There's ways to filter for the cheapest horses.
2) That would actually make passes close to useless, and Howrse would *lose* money. Less money means less changes, and very little means no game. Oh, yeah, and the price of horses would increase, everyone would have Pegasus Accounts (making them not-so-special) or the price on the accounts would increase. VIP Accounts would cost more than 10 passes and that kills me *sigh* 10 passes is a bit difficult for me to work at when I'm so busy. Think of it like raising the minimum wage~
3) That would make Divines so much less rare than they already are. My last 4 Divines (two Winters, Tianma and Shenma) all came from no pass-buying. I did buy passes for my Caicias, though.
And if you have a good EC and good horses, that just means you've played smart or had someone helping you. Divines have nothing to do with that.

And if people are picking on you, tell a mod.

Players price their horses by what they feel they are worth. If you check the sales frequently, you might even be able to find a horse you want for a very low price.
There are already ways to get passes if you work at it. After your 50th day on Howrse, you can buy a pass with 20% of your reserve every 30 days on the game. If you you get someone you trust to take your equus, you can practically get a pass for free. You can get passes from pass horses, and I think you can earn 10 passes max from that.
If everyone on the game got a divine they would lose their worth and then they wouldn't be divine or special would they? If you participate in the big challenge and it's festivities, maybe you will get lucky and win a divine. You can also support howrse and buy passes to use in a promo to win a divine if you choose to.
If people are really going to be immature and pick on you for not having a divine, then you need to separate your self from their negativity, tell a mod, and continue with your game. Just because you don't have a divine doesn't make you a bad player or make you not special in anyway. I love the divines they are all special and pretty, but I don't feel like it's a big deal because I own a few. They give you a few small advantages (some big advantages, depending are what you do with your game) all divines are different.
