Cyber: the black pearl page looks the same. I can't find any difference, and the translation is almost exact from what I can find. The other image is interesting though...maybe they are bringing them back?

A while back I sent a suggestion to Contact us regarding the Great Challenge.

Basically stating that it was great - loved the puzzle aspect they added - thought the idea would be great as an on going monthly contest if it didn't include a divine. I suggested bringing back the companions as the main prize for completing the puzzle in the allotted time before the lottery. I was also suggesting making the top prizes for the lottery things like VIP memberships // Aphrodite's Privilege - things like that

Maybe they are bringing something like that as an ongoing contest. Great way to pick up BMIs and give those of use missing a handful of the companions a chance to complete our trophies.

So many people complained that it was an ongoing thing, which was part of the reason they put it back into the alternating cycle despite it was originally supposed to be an ongoing thing.

Companions were originally removed because so few utilized them according to a post from Admin waaay back. Something I can completely believing since playing with them after initial foal games used time and energy and you /had/ to play with them to wake them up to get their dressage bonus. I know I never touched my companions again after I completed foal games.

It would be interesting to see them brought back, but I really wonder if they would actually do that. Ability to search for select companions (outside of using the trophy page) would be nice though. Hopefully we get a translation fairly soon.

I wasn't going to post the images except the text that came with them was most interesting.

I could be completely in left field on this so we may just have to file it away and wait and see.

I so sincerely hope that they bring them back. On my first account way back in 2013 or so, I remember all the companions and I kinda miss them I know they are unnecessary But what about the people who are trying to sell theirs and won't make any money? I only have a goat now, but I miss the zebras and especially the cats!

I want the companions back mostly because I want to make dog coats. It'd be nice if that happened....

I can't see Howrse bringing them back to be used the same way as before. What I want to know is what they'll be used for, if they do return?

Unless..... Could they possibly return as a Wandering Horse Promo? A sort of Wandering Companion? That wouldn't be nearly as satisfying, but it would be kind of neat....

I did hear a rumor about wandering horses on the FR server....

i figure if they bring them back they wont have any use except to complete trophies ...im also thinking theyll be in a promo like the one used to get rid of alot of horses ...the set horses free promo ...that or it will follow the campanion promo so they can get rid of alot of horses and free up some memory ? ***this is JUST A GUESS, NOT actual promo at least for now lol

No idea. Just a blurb I found on the French server. Howrse said they would not be, but Howrse has also changed its mind on a few things. So take what I posted with a large grain of salt and take a wait and see approach.

I am pretty sure that if you get one, you still get the 5th E, but you have to have both towns to get the F. Wand, which makes sense.

Not directed at anyone but now that the Mini Ride has gone live any questions about that promo has its own thread for comments and questions.

This just makes it clearer for players that want to know what has not been released and players with the Mini Ride promo are more likely to get answers on the thread dedicated to the promo.
