When will the Christmas Packs become available? I am so excited for them!

Well, that just spoiled my ideas. My family won't let me spend money on here. Maybe one day...

Oh my gosh-YES-the Olmpyus pack will be 100$?! ! I will be so darn happy if that's the case because my birthday is coming up, and I'm going to ask for an $50 iTunes gift card and a $100 iTunes gift card, and I could use the $100 one on that!

I wanted the Ultimate Pack, but an Olympus Pack is good too and almost half the price of the Ultimate Pack.

Does anyone know how much the Treasure Chests are usually when Howrse sells them?

What is the major deal of the O. Pack? Why would it cost 100$? I am not saying this in a rude way, a questioning way.

If it is only $100 though, you get 80 passes, a million equus, 200 APs, and then one of the Mythological divines of your choice.
Not a bad deal considering a 100 pass pack is usually $125 though.... The divines alone would cost possibly 20 passes if it was in the direct sales, Plus you get the extra Greyfell. 200 APs would cost 9-10 passes...
I'd say it's not bad for what's included depending on what you're looking for and what you're willing to spend.

I like that they've included months of the VIP subscription with a couple of the packs, but I do miss that they took out the 5th element and SoA BMs...

Actually you get Tarpan in the Luck Day pack.

The biggest difference between the packs - if you want all the goodies that is

The Ultimate pack costs $10.00 less than the others combined

But if you buy each of the other separately - you get 30 more passes total than you do in the Ultimate Pack and you get 200 APs that are not included in the Ultimate Pack.

Based on that - if you can afford it buying separately might be better - if you want all the goodies,

Important info re rides.

OW posted on prepod that the energy usage for the rides will be reduced with the new rides.

What we have now.

Based on a 1/2 hour ride we have in and around 13% for trot, 15/16 % for Gallop and about 17% for the steep slope.

This was posted on Int that clearly shows the energy level no matter what skill you are going for is now about 8% for a half hour ride.

I'm looking at the Olmpyus pack like

So does it look like they are going to go with the mountain rides being speed, stamina and trot? Originally it was looking like it was stam, dressage and jump for mountain and possibly being changed to the other later on.

Either way my fries will still be a royal pain as they need two rides and two comps. As it was I could only bold all skills by 8 and 8 with a timer, if rides take another two years, then that means I would have to breed before 100 blup. And yes I would have to. Unis have a very short span of breeding opportunities before losing skills and I don't go over 25 as people like having a high skill horse.

I'm having a feeling there is going to be a whole lot of unblupped horses now if the new rides are as long as they are being projected. The quality just seems to be going downhill with each new feature. Not that I don't like change, but I'm just not sure these rides are any "easier." My definition of easier is have a button for short and a button for long and just click it....kinda like the auto comp. Now THAT would be easier!

You're right! I don't BLUP that much, now I won't get much in at all!

They recently changed it. Confusion abounds on Int because what was posted on the original post has been changed.

I would think though if you are using half the energy to do what you are doing now there would be a saving in time as more skills can be gained within each aging.

If this is the case would having a Timer on the horse make the horse gain skills at a younger age? I can usually get the ones with Timers blupped at around 8, but if this will get it done faster I'm all for it.
