Yes. And Black would still be like 99%, but there'd still be a chance of something else. (And hera's packs won't be wasted on them, the lily feature)

Ok the vanners and Friesians look nothing like they would in real life...a big BOOOOO default smiley (n) The shetlands are no longer cute. I would think you would have made them to look more like the breeds in real life... So sad on the looks sorry but default smiley (n)default smiley (n)default smiley (n)
I honestly do not want to see them add another Friesian coat. Friesians are supposed to be Black. Note that the European Register, where Friesians were originally established as a breed, Requires that they be black or black with the barest bit of Chrome and nothing larger than a star to even qualify to e registered. Note also that they actually do test for red gene carriers and deny them stud book registry. Red Gene is not a required trait in a purebred Friesian, and is only sought after by people today because it is 'different' and 'rare'

Albinism in horses on the other hand is actually impossible. In order to for a horse to display Albinism is a recessive trait, which means it will display itself, to have a albino foal you would have to breed two albino parents. . .and there has been a recorded case of an Albino horse. OLWS foals are perhaps the closest you can get >.> and those just end in sad stories.

Anyway, genetic in coat colors aside. I LIKE the new Connie coat. I never understand why the current one had feathering. Looks much much 'cleaner' graphically.

I'd love to see Howrse add Chestnut to Friesians as a rare color option. While I respect the FPS and their right to exclude chestnuts, that doesn't mean chestnuts don't exist and don't occasionally show up in foals. Science is a lovely thing, and I'm sure testing for the chestnut gene may prevent many chestnuts from cropping up, but I doubt it will completely eliminate it. To quote my beloved X-Files "Nature abhors normality. It can't go for long without creating a mutant." default smiley ;)

For the record, the American studbook, the AFA, DOES allow chestnuts to register if it can prove it's purebred parantage.

And also lets remember that Howrse doesn't have stud books.

So I say, why not! Bring on a 1% chestnut Friesian! default smiley :d

So no silver grey coat for the connies

These should be in the order they are in in the directories

Point taken, point taken. I do understand people wanting it. Just not my personal cup of tea. Of course, if Howrse wanted to be amazing >.> we should bring actual color genetics to Howrse, even if just a minor degree. Other games have it done. I would love to have a solid line of Grulla, or Sabino. That Snowflake GV is indeed gorgeous, such an extreme example of crazy genetic colors.

I /adore/ The Connies! I actually like chestnut. I tend to groan whenever I birth out a chestnut fail these days, that and Bay, but it looks sooo much better. Now my general dislike of Gray is back, but that is a person thing. Gray horses are a pain to clean.

White horses are even worse, Halolath. My friends at the old place I used to ride had an almost white Arabian... Who seems to have rolled waay more than their chestnut morgan. Every time my friend finished brushing, the horse would go out and rolldefault smiley xd

It would be totally awesome if they brought that to howrse!default smiley :)

I don't like the new QH coats... the tails make them look sickly. Otherwise, they aren't too bad... although they look like a thoroughbred/QH cross instead of a purebred QH. Too refined.

That info is a wee bit outdated default smiley (lol)
we are going through that promo right nowdefault smiley :p
I just hope the Shagya Arabian stays as is and the Arabian changes, or they do something similar to that. Shaggys are larger and 'rangier' than a pure Arabian, they're more of a sport horse. Pics inside spoiler to contain their size.

They most likely will keep the two coats the same, unfortunately. I know what you mean about the Shagyas.
