@addicted - It would be really cool if they did weather divines! I also think Foreat divines would be cool... Creek, trees, bushes (but with prettier names than that lol). Just color divines like Scarlet would be cool, so would Marine divines... Haha. I like the themes.

Ooh. See, now we're getting into mythology, and I love me some mythology. Balios (that's his Greek name, Roman name as I learned it was Balius) was the brother of Xanthos. Both were immortal horses given by Poseidon/Neptune (I think it was Poseidon?) to King Peleus when he married an ocean goddess. They were later given to his son Achilles, who used them to pull his chariot in the Trojan War.

Ah, wow! I didn't know that!! I figured that Bailos might have some significance but I wasn't entirely sure. That's really quite interesting default smiley ^) I need to brush up on some mythology.
Yes it would be default smiley (lol) I think we should have the Mythology Divines as well. Zues? Poseidon? Aphrodite? Achilles? Might get a tad bit confusing with the BM items being in there as well but I could deal with it ^.^

Hopefully we get the all - season Divine as well!
They actually did do a wandering horse promo with the greek pantheon. Seeing as we have Sleipner, I would like to see them branch into Norse mythos at some point, or hit up a few other major world mythos that maybe people do not know quite as much as about, Egyptian or the oriental mythos' has some rich culture and awesome stories as well.

We are studying mythology in school, so PM me for myths in the greek, roman and egyptian cultures. Did you know that the planets are named after Roman gods and goddesses, and the Romans stole their myths from the greeks and changed the names.

Zeus=Jupiter
Aphrodite=Venus
Cronos=Saturn
Hermes=Mercury
Ares=Mars
Poseidon=Neptune
Hades=Pluto
Well, Greece was part of the Roman Empire for quite a while. Rome had its own mythology as well - for instance, in Roman times each family had a small shrine to a house god. The god depended entirely on the household, as some were dead family members or lesser gods chosen to protect the home, etc. but that's something Greece never did. The Romans were interesting in that when they conquered nations, they allowed the people to continue believing what they wanted instead of making them convert.

Romans adapted Roman nythology to their needs. Stories are sometimes different depending on whether you're reading the Greek or Roman version. Many of the gods also had different personalities - for instance, Ares was bloodthirsty and unforgiving in Greek mythology but as the Roman god Mars he was much more gentle and helpful.

And Cronus/Kronos isn't actually a god technically, he was a Titan. He was the father of many of the major gods/goddesses - Hestia, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, Zeus, and a couple of others. He tried to eat all of them to save himself from a prophecy but Rhea was able to hide Zeus by giving Kronos a rock to eat instead, and Zeus went on to defeat his father and all of the Titans.

Ahh. I just live mythology. I've got all this stuff packed away in the back of my head. Egyptian mythology is cool as heck, so's Norse. A lot of Asian mythology in general has some really cool stories.

does anyone know when they plan on releasing more unicorn breeds, its been over a year since they released the last unicorn breed and theres several breeds we need "unified"
By Retired breeder, May 2, 2014 17:43:01

That's really quite interesting.. I knew that they were similar, and always wondered why the names had been changed.
I know a little bit about Egyptian Mythology, it'd be interesting if they adapted Osiris (god of the dead) into the start of a series; maybe Ra, Anubis, Sekhmet, and of course Horus? ^.^

We won't know until it is announced.

By Retired breeder, May 2, 2014 21:18:04
does anyone know what summer looks likedefault smiley (o), i know that fall/winter was leaked but i haven't seen summer.
By Retired breeder, May 2, 2014 21:20:02
I don't think anyone knows what summer looks like. In summer!

OW said at one point to expect the major changes within the next year. Going to take them a bit, and that is a rough rough guesstimate.

Do I wish I had an answer for this one >.> I hope they do soon, but I do not believe there has been official word.

I'd love uni HPsdefault smiley :d
I just saw in one of the texts if the translation center that the top contributor in the challenge gets to pick what city the grand prix will be held in.....but does it really matter? What would be the point? Just for kicks? Just throwing this out there to see if anyone knew anything.

I'm still not quite understanding that whole Grand Prix city thing. I mean... I'm not sure what exactly is the point. Perhaps if players were allowed to choose under their account setting the major city (out of 30 or 40 over the world) that they live closest to, and then when the Prix comes to their city they get a bonus in the Prix or a small black market item or something? Otherwise I don't see the point of the city idea.

If I remember correctly at this point in time it is more an aesthetics changes. Gives a nicer looking 'finish' to the page than the old beige background, and lets some very talented artists show off their work.

I cannot remember if there is any more to it than that, I would have to dig around through old threads again and double check.

I thought, and this is likely just my memory jumping connections, that where the city of the GP was and where your EC was located /might/ correlate or something in the far off future. I could be completely wrong however. Though it would be cool if they brought a little more diversity into GP bonuses by doing that. I know it would throw a wrench into how people play. . . but maybe we need that. The game is all variable based, the more variables the more of a challenge and the bigger the opportunities for players perhaps not so high in the rankings to get a shot.
