I can tell you that several of the "rules" that you posted are incorrect (karma, playing daily).

Also, VIPs have a higher chance of being selected, and if they aren't there is a link on the homepage that they can click to gain access.

I highly doubt we will see uni prices skyrocketing all that much. Teams are more for competing at being the highest in GP, and Uni value is not really dependent on GP so much as what people are willing to pay for it. Most people look at the price of the uni first, and then possibly the age and never seem to look at GP, skills and all that. Most people just want a unicorn and do not care about its quality, and team sales rely on people wanting quality, not quantity which is sadly more of what unicorns have become.

When will Howrse have a divine sale again? Like a gemstone divine sale?

I think that only happens when they introduce a new serious or add a new divine to a previous serious,but no one knows for sure when it will happen

Is there no US test server? So I would have to qualify and keep up a VIP account on the INT? I rarely go on there, much less qualify for a VIP account. It's much easier if I can just.... well, just qualify on here, since I've already got my VIP account.

That's kind of sad though, I remember when uni prices where like 80k at the least. Now you can get them for 40k. I am sort of hoping the prices will go up.

any ideas on the next divine?

windmill- For now, we aren't getting a next divine. And, to be more precise, it will be a while as we have a chance of getting three divines, which is a lot more than usual. In my opinion, new divines shouldn't be added until our current promotion, the lottery, and the current Challenge is over.
I know they plan on adding the next Chinese divine which will hopefully be Tianma's mate.

I know right? I can't even find one with high GP. Also most people don't blup them. I can't even sell one without the price being 30000 or less. It is sad how the unicorns are losing quality.

The unis are losing quality and value, but some can still be sold for high prices. I would argue that while many do not care about GP, some do, as he tekes I have in the top of the sales can sometimes net 3-4 passes, which is much higher than most uni sales at one pass or below.

Honestly, I don't bother with unicorns anymore due to the price drop. I've been watching the number of unicorns increase and the prices drop over the days, and it's really frustrating. Unicorns were one of my few sources of income and it's sad to see what were once rare, valuable creatures become unquality, unblupped messes. I hope in the next promo Howrse would do us all a favor and lower the unicorn population. I'm gonna be breeding donkeys instead if this doesn't stop.

Unicorns are still good for income. Most players who breed them can make money from them. I think that this new team thing WILL increase their prices, because this way players will actually be trying to raise the GP. High GP unis could likely become valuable.

The best unis relative to the GP being at a comparative level to the regular breeds is on the Australian server.

vlasc- My unicorn wouldn't even sell for 50k and it was fully blupped, everything. I don't think unicorns are really worthy anything anymore with such a high population and so many unblupped ones.

it's never a good idea to depend on selling a particular type of horse or breed to make equus --- unless you can breed top end, top GP skillers -- now THOSE can make money and passes for you -- but it's very hard to get that going --
as they increase in GP seeming overnight --

NOW if they would throw in a sever GP penalty for foals born from NON 100 % blupped parents -- now that would slow down or completely stop the "turbo speed breeding" some breeders do to get the high GPs ---- and even out the playiing field a bit ( and yes I suggested that via "contact us " -- but who knows /shrug ) --
oh and don't make it possible to "get out " of this penalty by having it as a perk on the ViP account either -- that would just defeat the purpose of the penalty ---- yes made that suggestion to them too ..... <sigh>

I've sold a unicorn for 9 passes before. It all depends on a variety of factors; I don't think its breed had anything to do with it, considering there were a lot of cheaper 1000 GP GV unicorns out there.
