The new toolbar will be different... might be hard to get used to. Ever since the removal of the jobs I always click the wrong tab thing and go to "my account" instead of "my page"! default smiley xd

This was before companions actually. It used to be you could keep 'pets' in the ECs boxes. A Rabbit meant that the horse boarding in that box would allow 2 carrots per day to be used instead of just one. I believe you could also keep a chicken/rooster in the box to eat 'worms' so your horse did not get sick, that one was removed when they took out the illness factor. I think a zebra or goat could be kept in their for morale purposes, but I do not recall. I am not even sure they were on this server actually, that may have been back in Ints history before the extra servers were ever made.

Rabbits and zebras were on this server. Zebras gave extra moral. Was a royal pain when they switched to showers because they just compensated equus instead of an even swap and no one could get a shower. Took forever to finish getting showers in the boxes.

There are a lot of questions concerning what choosing a localisation implies for an EC on the resource side in the future. I'm going to try and shed a tiny bit of light on resources linked to the localisations.
Of course bear in mind that we are talking about something that isn't here yet and is subject to change.

After next Monday's update:
- You will be able to chose a localisation and your boarders will gain skills faster if they are in an EC with the correct localisation.

Two updates after this Monday's update (however as this is in the mid term future it may be subject to change):
- Introduction of the resources
- Possibility of changing the location of your EC for 30 days before they become final

Roughly how are resources going to work?

Your EC is located in the forest.
You'll be able to exploit wood. This wood will be gathered by your boarders when they do "mission/lessons".

Your EC is located in the Mountain.
You'll be able to exploit iron. This iron will be gathered by your boarders when they do "mission/lessons".

Your EC is located in the beach.
You'll be able to exploit sand. This sand will be gathered by your boarders when they do "mission/lessons".

How do you get your hands on iron or sand when your EC is in the forest?
You buy it from the store where other players have sold their stock.

Each EC owner will have to buy a part of his resources to do things whit them from other players. He'll also sell his resources to the others.

PInk101 - that's the question I have also. Need to know what can be done with type of resource as well in order to make the best decision.

Figure since it's going to take both types of rides to BLUP most horses, I more concerned about the resources in regards as to where I put my EC

What I posted above came from OW on prepod and up to that post we had not even that much of a hint. We will have to wait for when that part is released to gain more information.

It will however depend on your EC location choice and affect your future game play.

Spyder, i'm going to try and be general and give you an overview. *not my forte*

What is going to change is that there will be less difference between privileged breeds and the other breeds and the rides will be simpler to do.
They are also shorter in length to perform even if blupping is a tiny bit longer but still totally doable in under ten years.

For your questions regarding energy in rides instead of having a cost of either 27, 33, 35.5 for short rides and 39.6, 32.4, 42.3 for long ride they cost 18 point of energy per hours whatever the ride or length. Easier to remember.

I believe that is correct. I believe what we have been discussing over the last few pages are coming Monday.

The next changes will not come until after the Christmas promo so in Jan., then the next one will be in Feb.default smiley :)
